Sena SF4 Quick Start Guide

Overview

This guide provides instructions for the Sena SF4 Bluetooth intercom system.

Buttons: (+) Button, Center Button, (-) Button

Charging LED: Indicates charging status.

Sena Motorcycles App & Device Manager

Sena Motorcycles App: Download from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) for managing your device.
Sena Device Manager: Download from sena.com to upgrade firmware and configure settings on your PC or Apple computer.

Charging

Charging LED: Red indicates charging. Blue indicates fully charged.

Button Operation

Power On/Off: Press and hold the Center Button and (+) Button for 1 second.
Battery Check: Tap the Center Button and the (+) Button.
Volume Adjustment: Tap the (+) Button or the (-) Button.
Microphone Mute: Press and hold the Center Button and (-) Button for 1 second.

Phone & Music Pairing

Pairing: Select 'Sena SF4' in your Bluetooth device list. Enter '0000' for PIN if prompted.
Music Play/Pause: Press and hold the Center Button for 1 second.
Track Forward/Back: Press and hold the (+) Button or (-) Button for 1 second.

Mobile Phone Call Making & Answering

Answer Call: Tap the Center Button.
End Call: Press and hold the Center Button for 2 seconds.
Voice Dial: Press and hold the Center Button for 3 seconds.
Speed Dial: Press and hold the (+) Button for 3 seconds.
Reject Call: Press and hold the Center Button for 2 seconds.

Intercom Pairing & Operation

Intercom Pairing: Press and hold the Center Button for 5 seconds on both headsets. Tap the Center Button on one headset to pair.
Start/End Intercom: Tap the Center Button.
End All Intercoms: Press and hold the Center Button for 3 seconds.
Start Group Intercom (SF4 only): Tap the (+) Button and (-) Button simultaneously.
End Group Intercom (SF4 only): Press and hold the Center Button for 3 seconds.

FM Radio

Radio On/Off: Press and hold the (-) Button for 1 second.
Seek Stations: Double tap the (+) Button or (-) Button.
Scan Up FM Band: Press and hold the (+) Button for 1 second.
Stop Scanning: Press and hold the (+) Button for 1 second.
Save Preset While Scanning: Tap the Center Button.
Move to Preset Station: Press and hold the Center Button for 1 second.
Save or Delete Preset: Press and hold for 3 seconds, then select save or delete.

Configuration Menu

Enter Menu: Press and hold the Center Button for 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting & Factory Reset

Factory Reset: Use the 'Factory Reset' option in the configuration menu to restore default settings. The headset will automatically restart.
Fault Reset: If the unit is not working properly, reset it by gently pushing the pin-hole reset button on the back of the main unit with a pin.
