Inserting Batteries
Transmitter: Fit 2 x AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity. Replace and lock the battery cover.
Model: Open the battery compartment. Fit 5 x AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity. Close and lock the battery compartment cover.
Battery Warnings
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Do not open, dispose of in fire, or mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Binding Procedure
After inserting batteries into the transmitter, the LED on the transmitter will flash, indicating it is ready to bind. Switch on the model. When the LED on the transmitter stops flashing and remains lit, the vehicle is bound to the transmitter.
The transmitter does not have an on/off switch and will automatically turn off after approximately 60 seconds of inactivity. Pressing any transmitter button will reactivate it.
The vehicle has an on/off switch and must be switched off after use to prevent battery discharge.
Operation
- Forward/Reverse: Press the forward or reverse button; the model will drive forwards or backwards.
- Turn Left/Right: Pressing the left or right button will steer the model to the left or right.
Safety Measures
- Pay attention to the frequencies in your environment.
- Do not operate the model in rain, snow, wetness, or sand.
- Never drive on roads or areas used by real vehicles.
- Never operate the model beyond your sight or out of reach of your remote control.
- Keep hands away from moving parts.
- Use only under the direct supervision of an adult.
- Replace batteries when they are empty. Always observe correct polarity.
- Do not expose the model to direct sunlight or heat.
- Clean the model using a damp cloth.
- Store batteries separately when not in use.
- Allow the model to cool down sufficiently after each use before operating it again. A cooling phase of at least 10 minutes is required after changing batteries before the model can be operated again. Overheating can damage the electronics or cause a fire hazard.
Disposal Instructions
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in domestic waste; they must be disposed of separately. You are obliged to return used batteries for proper disposal (separate collection). Batteries contain substances that can be irritant, cause allergies, or are highly reactive, making separate collection and proper recycling important for the environment and your health. Electrical appliances must also be disposed of separately from domestic waste. If possible, remove batteries and take old electrical equipment to communal collection points. If personal data is stored on the electrical appliance, it must be removed by you before disposal.
