2.1.1 Choosing Installation Location

Select an installation location that captures the vehicle's entire front view without obstructing the driver's line of sight. Ensure the front camera lens is centered on the windshield.

Note: If a GPS navigation device is installed on the dashboard, its GPS signal reception may be affected depending on the dash cam's installation location. Adjust the GPS navigation device's installation location to ensure a distance of at least 20 cm (approximately 8 inches) between the two devices.

2.1.2 Securing the Product

Follow the instructions to secure the product in the installation location.

  1. Once the installation location is determined, wipe the installation area on the windshield with a dry cloth.
  2. Apply the heat dissipation film to the installation location. Ensure the heat dissipation film is applied where it does not obstruct the front camera's view.
  3. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive mount and press the mount firmly onto the heat dissipation film. Press the mount against the windshield to ensure it is securely fixed.
  4. Align the product with the mount and slide it into the locked position until you hear a click.
