Maintenance
TW Steel uses the best materials and carries out strict controls before the watch leaves the factory. The way in which you wear or treat your TW Steel will determine whether the appearance of the watch is maintained in the future, or whether it will deteriorate. To enjoy wearing your TW Steel as long as possible, here are some tips: If the watch comes into contact with hard or corrosive materials, this can cause damage, which, if it occurs regularly, will become clearly visible in the form of scratches.
Your watch should be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth that is not impregnated with any cleaning material. Absolutely no cleaning materials should be used. It is advisable to regularly polish your watch with a soft cotton cloth. The watch is a precision mechanical instrument and should be treated as such. Adjusting the time or date, opening or closing the crown or crowncap, should not be done roughly, but carefully.

- STOPWATCH 1/10-second hand: This hand moves for the first minute. After one minute, it indicates the measured time when it is stopped.

Crown Types
There are two types of crown: a normal crown and a screw-lock type crown. Please check the type of the crown of your watch.
Normal Crown Operation
Pull out the crown and operate it. [Diagram Description: Shows the crown being pulled out from the watch case to allow operation.]
Screw-Lock Type Crown Operation
Unlock the crown before operating it. [Diagram Description: Shows the crown being unscrewed by turning counter-clockwise while pulling.] The crown turns. Important Notes for Screw-Lock Crown:
- If your watch has a screw-lock type crown, the crown screws into the watch to prevent malfunction and increase water resistance.
- Be careful not to screw the crown in by force as it may damage the slots of the crown.
How to Adjust the Stopwatch Hands Position
Resetting Stopwatch Hands:
- Pull out the crown to the second click.
- Press Button A or Button B to reset the stopwatch 1/10 second, second, and minute hands to the "0" position. The second hand stops immediately.
- Pressing Button A resets the STOPWATCH 1/10 second hand position (clockwise direction). [Diagram Description: Shows Button A pressed, resetting the 1/10-second stopwatch hand.]
- Pressing Button B resets the STOPWATCH second and minute hands position (clockwise direction). [Diagram Description: Shows Button B pressed, resetting the second and minute stopwatch hands.]
- Push the crown back to the normal position.
Functionality:
- If the stopwatch is functioning: Use Button A to advance the stopwatch hands.
- If the stopwatch is stopped: Use Button B to reset the stopwatch hands.
How to Set the Date and Time
Preparation: Before setting the time, make sure that the stopwatch measurement is stopped.
- Pull out the crown to the first click.
- Turn the crown clockwise to set the date. [Diagram Description: Shows the crown turned clockwise at the first click.]
- Pull out the crown to the second click when the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position. It will stop immediately. Turn the crown to advance the hour and minute hands. (Make sure that the 24-hour hand is set correctly.) - Note: When the crown is at the second click position, do not press any button, as this will move the stopwatch hands.
- Push the crown back in to the normal position in accordance with a time signal. [Diagram Description: Shows the crown pushed back to the normal position.]
