1) No salt required.
The water softener can be adjusted manually or electronically.
Use of Dishwasher Salt
Only use dishwasher salt. Using other types of salt can damage the water softener. Ensure the salt container is filled before starting a wash program to prevent corrosion.
To fill the salt container:
- Turn the cap anticlockwise to open the salt container.
- Fill the salt container with 1 litre of water (only for the first operation).
- Use the funnel to fill the salt container with salt.
- Remove any spilled salt around the opening.
- Turn the cap clockwise to close the salt container.
It is normal for water to overflow when filling the salt container.
Use of Rinse Aid
Rinse aid helps dishes dry without streaks and stains. It is automatically added during the last rinsing phase.
To fill the rinse aid dispenser:
- Press the release button (A) to open the rinse aid dispenser.
- Fill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid up to the 'max.' mark.
- Remove any spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth.
- Close the rinse aid dispenser.
The rinse aid dosage is set at the factory to position 4. It can be adjusted from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
Loading Cutlery and Dishes
General Tips:
- Only use dishwasher-safe utensils.
- Do not clean items that absorb water (sponges, cloths).
- Remove all food debris before loading.
- Soften burnt-on food in pans.
- Load hollow items with the opening facing downwards.
- Ensure items do not lie inside one another.
- Ensure glasses do not touch each other.
- Place small items in the cutlery basket.
- Plastic items may retain water and dry less effectively.
- Place light items in the upper basket and ensure they do not move.
- Ensure spray arms can move freely before starting a wash program.
- Always close the door after loading or unloading.
Lower Basket:
Place saucepans, lids, plates, and salad bowls in the lower basket. Arrange large lids and service dishes around the edge.
Cutlery Basket:
- Do not place long-bladed knives vertically. Arrange them horizontally.
- Place forks and spoons with handles down.
- Place knives with handles up.
- Mix spoons with other cutlery to prevent them from sticking together.
- Use the cutlery grid; remove if necessary.
Upper Basket:
The upper basket is for plates (up to 24 cm diameter), saucers, cups, glasses, pots, and lids. Arrange items so all surfaces can be reached by water. Prevent plates from tilting forward.
Adjusting the height of the upper basket:
If large plates are used in the lower basket, move the upper basket to the upper position. Adjust the height before loading.
Upper position | Lower position | |
---|---|---|
Upper basket | 20 cm | 31 cm |
Lower basket | 24 cm | 27 cm |
To move the upper basket to the upper position:
- Move the front runner stops (A) outwards.
- Pull the basket out.
- Place the basket in the upper position.
- Return the front runner stops (A) to their original position.
Caution: If the basket is in the upper position, do not place cups on the cup racks.
Use of Detergent
Only use detergents (powder, liquid, or tablet) suitable for dishwashers. Follow the manufacturer's dosage recommendations and storage instructions. Do not use more detergent than necessary.
To fill the detergent dispenser:
- Open the lid of the detergent dispenser.
- Fill the dispenser (A) with detergent. The markings indicate the dosage (20 for approx. 20g, 30 for approx. 30g).
- If using a wash program with a prewash phase, add more detergent to the prewash compartment (B).
- If using detergent tablets, place the tablet in the detergent dispenser (A).
- Close the lid of the detergent dispenser until it locks.
Note: Different detergent brands dissolve at different rates. Some tablets may not perform optimally in short wash programs. Use long wash programs with tablets to ensure complete detergent removal.
Combi Detergent Tablets:
These tablets contain detergent, rinse aid, and dishwasher salt. If your tablets include these, you may not need to fill the salt and rinse aid containers separately. The rinse aid indicator light may remain on.
- Check if the tablets are suitable for your water hardness.
- Select the lowest water hardness and rinse aid dosage settings.
If drying results are unsatisfactory:
- Fill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid.
- Set the rinse aid dosage to position 2.
To use normal detergent again:
- Refill the salt container and rinse aid dispenser.
- Adjust the water hardness setting to the highest level.
- Run a wash program without dishes.
- Adjust the water softener to your water hardness.
- Adjust the rinse aid dosage.

Installation
Warning! Ensure the mains plug is disconnected during installation.
Important! Follow the enclosed template for:
- Building in the appliance.
- Installing the furniture panel.
- Connecting water supply and drain.
Install the appliance under a counter (kitchen worktop or sink). Ensure it is accessible for servicing. Place it near a water tap and drain.
Ventilation requires openings for the water inlet hose, drain hose, and power cable. The dishwasher has adjustable feet for height adjustment.
Ensure the water inlet hose, drain hose, and power cable are not kinked or squashed.
Attaching to adjacent units: Ensure the counter is stable.
Adjusting the level: Ensure the appliance is level for proper door sealing. Adjust feet as needed.
Water connection:
- Connect to hot (max. 60°C) or cold water supply. Use hot water from alternative energy sources to decrease energy consumption.
- Connect the inlet hose to a 3/4” threaded tap.
- Do not use hoses from old appliances.
- Water pressure must be within the specified limits.
- Ensure the water inlet hose is not kinked or squashed. Fit the locknut securely.
- Do not connect to new or unused pipes without running water first.
Water drain hose:
- Connect the drain hose to the sink spigot under the work surface to prevent backflow.
- Connect the drain hose to a standpipe with a vent hole (min. 4 cm internal diameter).
Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or squashed. Remove the sink plug when draining to prevent backflow. Drain hose extensions should not exceed 2m and must have a suitable internal diameter. If connecting to a sink trap spigot, remove the plastic membrane (A) to prevent blockages.
Note: If the sink spigot has a non-return valve, it may impede proper draining. Remove this valve.
Caution! Check all water couplings for tightness to prevent leaks.
Electrical connection:
- Ensure the appliance is grounded.
- Check that the voltage and power rating on the rating plate match your local supply.
- Use a properly installed, shock-proof socket.
- Do not use multi-way plugs, connectors, or extension cables.
- Do not replace the mains cable yourself; contact the Service Force Centre.
- Ensure the mains plug is accessible after installation.
- Pull the mains plug, not the cable, to disconnect.
