Product Overview

The SinoTrack ST-915 and ST-925 are GPS trackers designed for high battery longevity. The ST-915 offers up to 2 months of standby time, while the ST-925 provides up to 4 months.

These products operate using the GSM/GPRS network and GPS satellites. They can locate and monitor various assets via SMS, APP, and the Internet, utilizing leading GPS and A-GPS positioning technology.

Getting Started

Congratulations on your new GPS Tracker. This manual guides you on how to use the tracker. We recommend reading this guide thoroughly before initial use.

Indicator Light Status

• Yellow light on: GPRS connection OK
• Yellow light blinking: GPRS connection missing
• Blue light on: GPS connection OK
• Blue light blinking: GPS connection missing
• Red LED: Lights up when the tracker is connected to the charger and turns off when fully charged.

The device features a SIM card slot, USB port, LED indicators, magnets for attachment, and an induction sensor.

Tracker Settings

The tracker is primarily configured using SMS commands. Most functions can be activated or deactivated as needed. The default password is 0000.

Note: A space character is represented by a green line in commands.

The tracker will respond with "SET OK" if a command is correct, or "Invalid Command" if it is incorrect. If no response is received, the message may not have been delivered; try again. The tracker will send a message to the admin number when the battery is low.

Basic Configuration

1. Check SIM Card Connection: Send the command 6690000. You will receive a Google Maps link with the tracker's position shortly.
2. Set Admin Number: To receive alarm messages, send a message to the tracker's number in the format: yournumber+0000. Example: 123456780000 1.
3. Speed Alarm: Receive a notification if the tracker exceeds a set speed (e.g., 70 km/h). Send the command 1220000 070 for 70 km/h. To set a different speed, replace the last three digits (e.g., 1220000 050 for 50 km/h). To deactivate, send 1220000 0.
4. Shock Alarm: Receive a notification if the tracker moves significantly for a set duration (e.g., 10 seconds). Send the command 1810000T10 for 10 seconds. To change the duration (e.g., to 30 seconds), replace '10' with '30' (e.g., 1810000T30). To deactivate, send 1810000T0.
5. Time Zone Setting: The tracker is factory set to GMT 0. Denmark uses CET (GMT+1). To adjust for daylight saving time differences, send: 8960000E01 for standard time, or 8960000E02 for daylight saving time.
6. Change Password: Use the format 777+new password+old password. Example: 77712340000 (changes password from 0000 to 1234).

Mode Settings

The tracker can operate in three different modes to manage battery life. The factory setting is MOVE mode.

• A. WORK Mode: Consumes the most battery (approx. 3 days for model 3006, 7 days for model 3007). The tracker is always active. Command: WORK0000.
• B. MOVE Mode: Offers moderate battery life (approx. 15 days for model 3006, 30 days for model 3007, depending on activity). The tracker wakes up when it detects movement. Command: MOVE0000.
• C. STANDBY Mode: Provides the longest battery life (approx. 60 days for model 3006, 120 days for model 3007). The tracker only wakes up when called or SMS'd, remaining active for 5 minutes before returning to standby. Command: STANDBY0000.

Alarm Settings

• 7. TAKEOFF Alarm (Removal Alarm): Notifies you if the tracker is removed from its attached device. This alarm is enabled by default. Activate: TAKEOFF0000 1. Deactivate: TAKEOFF0000 0.
• 8. Reset: To restore factory settings, send the command RESET.
• 9. Online Tracking and APP Setup: You can track the device via an online service (data charges may apply). Ensure the correct time zone is set (see section 5). To set up online tracking, send three messages:
  1. 7100000
  2. 8040000 45.112.204.217 8090
  3. The third message is the APN, which varies by carrier. Consult your provider for this information. Examples: YouSee: 8030000 internet; Greentel: 8030000 websp; Other carriers: 8030000 [provider-apn].

  View your tracker's location and history at www.sinotracker.com. Log in using the tracker's 10-digit ID number in the "User" field and the password "123456" (which can be changed). The app "SinoTrack Pro" is available on the App Store and Google Play.

• 10. GEO-Fence: Set up virtual security zones (GEO-fences) via the app. You will be notified if the tracker leaves a defined zone. In the app, tap "Geofence", then "+" to name the zone (e.g., "Home"). Tap "Longitude" to set the location via map, or move the map to the desired area. Tap the save icon. Adjust the radius (default 100m) by sliding the control. Tap "Save" to confirm.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Turning On

• Check if the battery is charged.
• Ensure the SIM card is inserted correctly.

No GSM Signal

• Check if the SIM card is inserted correctly.
• Verify the SIM card is active on the GSM network.
• Ensure the SIM card does not have a PIN code enabled.

No GPS Signal

• Ensure you are outdoors with a clear view of the sky.

No SMS Response

• Confirm the correct command code was sent and that the GPRS signal is active.

No Call Response or Alarm Messages

• The admin number is incorrect or has not been set.

Other Useful Commands

• 1. Status and Location: Send 669+password (e.g., 6690000).
• 2. Restart Tracker: Send RESTART.
• 3. Call Mode: The tracker sends an SMS and calls the admin number during an alarm. Send 151+password (e.g., 151000).
• 4. Disable GPRS (for offline tracking): Send 700+password (e.g., 700000).
