Safety and Operation
⚠️ Caution: Before taking the pressure switch into operation, read these operating instructions thoroughly. Failure to comply with these instructions, improper operation, or use for unintended purposes will void the warranty. No liability will be accepted for consequential damages. Installation and removal of the device must only be performed by qualified personnel.
Adhere to the applicable country-specific, harmonized safety regulations for operating pressure measuring devices. When installed, the respective device-specific requirements for the type of protection must be met.
Wiring Configurations
The device supports two main wiring configurations for power supply and signal output:
- 2-Wire Supply: Brown wire connects to IN (+), White wire connects to GND (-). The signal is output via the same wires.
- 3-Wire Supply: Brown wire connects to IN (+), White wire connects to GND (-), Green wire connects to Signal OUT.
Terminal connections are labeled IN+, IN-, OUT, and GND. Ensure proper connection based on the chosen configuration.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
The device complies with electromagnetic compatibility standards.
CE conformity according to EN 61326-2-3.
Installation
Connecting Tubes
Follow these steps for fitting the connecting tubes:
- Ensure the connecting tubes are properly fitted.
- Secure Tightening: Hold steady to avoid twisting when tightening. Use a [wrench] to secure. Obligatorily, block the counter-nut during tightening.
Nipple Installation
Carefully screw the nipple in.
Torque Specification: (15 - 16 Nm)
Sealing Materials
Use appropriate sealing materials for a secure connection:
- Adhesive: For example, Loctite 326 and activator 7649.
- O-Ring: Ensure the O-ring is correctly seated.
- Sealing Compound: Standard sealing compound (e.g., Loctite 326, activator 7649) or sealing compound for CR sealing material (e.g., Leak Lock).
