Getting Started

1. Connect the bundled Type-C™ cable to your keyboard.
2. Connect your keyboard to the PC.
3. Download and install the ROG Armoury II software from asus.com.
4. Follow the software instructions to update your keyboard's firmware.
5. Customize your keyboard using Armoury II.

Key Combinations

The keyboard offers several key combinations for enhanced functionality:

• Function Key / Media Function Toggle: Fn + Ins - Toggles between system function and media control for F5-F12 keys.
• Stealth Mode: F12 - Minimizes all active windows and mutes the system, or maximizes all minimized windows and unmutes the system. This function is active when F5-F12 keys are set to Media Function.
• On-the-fly macro recording:
  • Step 1: Fn + Left-ALT to start recording
  • Step 2: Fn + Left-ALT to end recording
  • Step 3: Assign Macro Key
• Profile Switch: Fn + 1/2/3/4/5/6* (6 is default)
• Light Effect Switch: Fn + Right Arrow or Fn + Left Arrow
• Brightness Level:
  • Fn + Up Arrow: Brightness up
  • Fn + Down Arrow: Brightness down
• Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause keys:
  • Fn + Delete: Print Screen (PrtScr)
  • Fn + End: Scroll Lock toggle (ScrLk)
  • Fn + PageDown: Pause (Pause)
• Factory Default: Fn + Esc - Hold these two buttons for over 10-15 seconds to reset to factory settings.

Note: When running AURA SYNC, hotkeys related to lighting effects (Profile switch, Lighting effects switch, Brightness level) will be disabled.

Profile Color and Lighting Effect Mapping

The default color for RGB lock indicator LEDs can be customized by switching profiles. Lock keys (Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Fn-Lock, Win Lock) will always be lit when enabled, displaying their default color or multi-colored if no specific lighting effect is active.
