A simple manual for using the APP

Mobile Phone APP Connection
Model: ST-999
Download and Install the APP:
Scan the QR code to download and install the latest Uboxpro app for Android or Apple phones.
Notification Permissions: To ensure prompt detection notifications, enable the app's notification permissions. This includes showing notifications, notification badges, spotlight, floating notifications, and lock screen notifications. You can also customize notification formats.
Register & Login:
- Open the App and tap "Register". If location permission is allowed, the country/region will auto-fill. Enter your email address, agree to the User Agreement, and tap "Next".
- Set up your password, enter the verification code, and tap "Sign up".
- Back to the login page, your account and password may be auto-filled. Tap "Sign in". If not, enter them manually.
Pair Up Your Device
- Add Device Location: Ensure the location is set correctly for proper cloud service functioning.
- SIM Card Installation: Make sure the SIM card is installed correctly. Power on the camera and tap "Add Device". Follow the in-app instructions to pair the device. Grant necessary permissions during pairing.
- Add Device Guide: Tap "Add Device" and enter the instruction page. Wait for the countdown to complete, then tap "Next". (Skip SIM card steps if your device supports WiFi only.)
- Bluetooth Connection (if applicable): If your device supports Bluetooth, the app will scan for nearby devices. Otherwise, tap "Scan the QR code" on the device.
- Device Information: Ensure the LED is solid blue, then tap "Next". Set up your device name and location. Select the correct location if multiple are added.
- QR Code Scanning: The app will generate a QR code. Use your device to scan it as instructed. Ensure WiFi name and password are correct; incorrect info will turn the LED red after scanning.
- Congratulations: Device installation is complete. Tap "OK" to return to the device list.
Connecting: Place the phone with the QR code in front of the lens at a distance of 15-20 cm. You will hear a confirmation voice after the security camera scans successfully. Connecting may take a few minutes.
APN Setup:
- If your device supports WiFi, the app will switch to WiFi pairing after selecting the device or scanning the QR code. Ensure your WiFi frequency is 2.4GHz.
- If using your own SIM card, tap "Blue light is not on" to enter APN pairing mode. Enter the APN info provided by your SIM card provider, tap "Next", and then place the QR code in front of the device. Once you hear "pairing information received" and the LED is solid blue, tap "Next" to set up device information.
- If APN is filled automatically, click "OK". If not, contact your SIM operator for APN info.
Troubleshooting LED Indicators:
- Red and blue flashing simultaneously: Network access failed. Use APN pairing mode.
- Solid red light: Weak signal reception. Check antenna installation or move the device.
- Red and blue flashing alternately: Device does not detect SIM card. Check SIM installation.
- Slow alternation of red and blue flashing: 4G data used up or expired. Recharge and reboot.
- Flashing red light: Device faulty. Contact customer service.
- Flashing blue light: Network status wrong.
Control the Movement of the Camera
Open the App, enter the added camera, and click the control icon. You can control the camera's movement by sliding up, down, left, or right.

Event Page Description:
- Select which device's video list to display (all by default).
- Device name of the current list.
- Local file managing (downloaded videos/pictures).
- Video list (viewing or downloading uploaded videos/pictures).
Customer Service Page Description:
- Scan a device QR code to submit problems and chat with customer service online.
- Chat list, select the device with problems and chat with customer service online.
- If the device is not listed, scan the QR code to start a conversation with customer service.
Mine Page Description:
- Account info (check account, reset password).
- Value-added service checking (cloud service, 4G data plan, etc.).
- Commonly used features (shared devices, network diagnosis, etc.).
- Help center (check FAQs).
- Account info (same as 1).
- Permissions (check if the app has all needed permissions).
- Common settings (muting, resolution, battery percentage, etc., applied to all devices).
- App info page (check app version, user agreement/policy).
- Logout account.
Cloud Storage Service
Cloud video services allow you to view and record your life. Videos can be replayed anytime. Receive timely information push, support download and batch production, and delete message reminders.
Important Notes
- Battery Life: To extend battery life, especially in high activity areas, reduce motion detection sensitivity to decrease device wake-ups.
- Signal Reception: Install the device in a location with strong signal reception for optimal performance. Ensure WiFi devices are within range of a stable WiFi signal.
- Notifications: Verify app notification settings to ensure you receive alerts.
- Cloud Services Trial: Each device is entitled to a complimentary monthly cloud service trial. Purchase a subscription within the app to continue usage after the trial.
FCC Caution
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
