Parts List
The fan consists of the following parts:
- Safety grilles (front and rear)
- Fan blade
- Motor with speed control and oscillation knob (on the rear, not visible here)
- Pivot knob
- Small adjustment knob
- Large pivot knob
- Extension tube
- Height adjustment knob
- Support base
Assembly
Attaching the telescopic support to the fan base
- The bolt is fixed to the lower column or supplied separately. Unscrew the bolt, if applicable, and remove it from the bottom of the lower column.
- Turn the support base upside down and screw the bolt from the bottom into the thread of the lower column. Tighten firmly, but without applying excessive force.
- Loosen the height adjustment knob and extend the extension tube to the desired height, then retighten the knob.
Attaching the fan head and motor to the telescopic support
- First, remove the pivot knob (2) and the large pivot bolt (6) from the top of the telescopic support. Then remove the neck fastening screw (3) and the small adjustment knob (5) from the motor housing support.
- Place the fan head and motor assembly onto the top of the support and pass the large pivot bolt (6) through the support. Screw in the neck fastening screw (3) and tighten, without over-tightening.
- Place the large pivot knob (2) on the end of the bolt (6) and the small adjustment knob (5) on the other side, over the bolt. Tighten both knobs while holding the fan motor upright.
Grille and Blade Assembly
- Fix the rear grille to the motor head with the provided screws.
- Place the blades onto the motor shaft and secure them with the plastic nut. Note: Screw 'ON' anti-clockwise. Ensure the back of the fan is slotted into the metal pins on the motor rod.
- Fix the round metal ring to the rear grille with the provided screws.
- Place the front grille over the ring and secure it with the provided screws.
Operation
The fan is equipped with 3 speeds and an oscillation function. To use the fan, follow these instructions:
- Place the fan on a dry, level surface where it cannot tip over during use.
- Ensure the speed control, located on the rear of the motor housing, is in the OFF (0) position, then plug the fan into a suitable outlet.
Speed Selection
The speed control is located on the rear of the motor housing. To select the fan speed, move the selector from the OFF (0) position to the desired level:
- 0 = OFF
- 1 = LOW
- 2 = MEDIUM
- 3 = HIGH
Oscillation
Press the oscillation button located on the top of the motor housing to activate the oscillation function and distribute the breeze widely. The fan head will turn from side to side. For fixed operation, pull the oscillation button upwards when the air is blowing in the desired direction.
CAUTION: Do not reach in front of the fan while operating the oscillation control, to prevent your clothing, sleeves, etc., from contacting the front grille.
Height Adjustment
Loosen the height adjustment knob (turn counter-clockwise), raise or lower the extension tube to the desired height, and then retighten the knob firmly.
Tilt Adjustment
The fan head can be tilted up or down to direct the breeze at the desired angle.
CAUTION: Ensure the fan is unplugged from the power supply before adjusting the tilt angle.
Loosen both the large tilt adjustment knob and the small tilt range knob. Tilt the fan head to the desired angle, then securely tighten both knobs.
CAUTION: Do not tilt the fan head beyond the permitted limit. Doing so could damage the unit.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean your fan by gently passing a vacuum cleaner nozzle (with a soft brush) over the front and rear grilles to remove dust or dirt accumulated inside or on the unit. Alternatively, you can use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust.
- Stubborn Stains: Use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap to remove stubborn stains, but ensure the cloth is not too wet. Be careful when cleaning around the motor housing. Do not allow the motor or electrical components to come into contact with water.
- End-of-Season Cleaning: When you finish using the fan at the end of the season, clean off accumulated dust to keep it in good working order for the next season. To clean the blades, carefully remove the front grille: loosen the screws around the edge of the grille and remove it. Carefully clean the blades with a dry or slightly damp cloth and a little mild detergent, then dry them. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
- Storage: During the off-season, store the fan clean and dry in a safe, dry place, protected from dust. It is recommended to use the original packaging to store the disassembled product (follow assembly instructions in reverse order for disassembly). Alternatively, you can cover the clean fan with a large plastic bag or a piece of cloth to protect it from dust.
- Service/Repair: This appliance requires no maintenance and contains no user-repairable parts. Do not attempt to disassemble the motor housing. Do not attempt to repair or modify the appliance. Do not use the fan if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if it is malfunctioning. In case of damage, malfunction, or a damaged cord, have the unit repaired only by qualified personnel.
