This is a CLASS II apparatus with double insulation, and no protective earth provided.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus. The main plug is used as a disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during intended use. To disconnect the apparatus from the mains completely, the mains plug should be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Power Source and Battery Back-up
Power Source: This clock radio operates on AC power. A power cord is supplied for connection to a standard household electrical outlet.
Sure Alarm Battery Back-up System: This unit is equipped with a Sure Alarm battery back-up system. In the event of a power failure, the clock and alarm settings will be maintained by a battery (not included). This battery back-up will also ensure the Sure Alarm function operates during a power outage.
Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert one 9V battery (or equivalent) according to the polarity markings inside the compartment. Ensure the battery is fresh and correctly installed for proper operation of the back-up system.
Location of Controls and Indicators
Front Panel: Features the main digital display showing time, alarm status, and other indicators.
Top Panel:
- 1. SNOOZE/DIMMER Button: Press to temporarily silence the alarm or adjust display brightness (HIGH/LOW).
- 2. ALARM 1 Button: Activates/deactivates Alarm 1.
- 3. ALARM 2 Button: Activates/deactivates Alarm 2.
- 4. RADIO ON/OFF Button: Turns the AM/FM radio on or off.
- 5. TIME ZONE Selector Switch: Selects the desired time zone for automatic time setting.
- 6. ALARM MODE Selector Switch: Sets the alarm mode (e.g., Radio, Buzzer).
- 7. BAND Selector Switch: Selects between AM and FM radio bands.
- 8. SLEEP Button: Activates the sleep timer function to turn off the radio after a set period.
- 9. BACK UP BATTERY COMPARTMENT: Located on the bottom cabinet for battery installation.
Left Side Panel:
- 21. VOLUME UP Button: Increases the radio volume.
- 22. VOLUME DOWN Button: Decreases the radio volume.
- 23. TUNING UP Button: Advances to the next higher frequency on the radio band.
Right Side Panel:
- 24. TUNING DOWN Button: Moves to the next lower frequency on the radio band.
- 25. CLOCK Button: Used for setting the time manually.
- 26. ALARM SET Button: Used for setting the alarm times.
Other Controls:
- 13. TIME SETTING Dial: Rotates to adjust the hour and minute when setting the time.
- 14. DISPLAY DIMMER (HIGH/LOW) Switch: Adjusts the brightness of the digital display.
- 27. AUX IN JACK: Connect external audio devices like iPods or MP3 players.
Preparation for Use
Unpacking and Set Up:
- Carefully unpack the clock radio and all accessories.
- Place the unit on a stable, level surface.
- Connect the AC power cord to a suitable wall outlet.
- Install the 9V battery for the back-up system as described above.
Setting the Time:
- Ensure the unit is plugged into an AC outlet.
- Press and hold the CLOCK button (25).
- While holding the CLOCK button, turn the TIME SETTING Dial (13) to set the correct hour and minute. The display will show the time as you adjust it.
- Release the CLOCK button to set the time.
- Use the TIME ZONE Selector Switch (5) to choose the correct time zone if applicable for automatic time synchronization.
Setting the Alarm:
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button (26).
- While holding the ALARM SET button, turn the TIME SETTING Dial (13) to set the desired alarm hour and minute.
- Release the ALARM SET button.
- Set the ALARM MODE Selector Switch (6) to your preferred alarm source (e.g., Buzzer or Radio).
- Set the BAND Selector Switch (7) if using the radio as the alarm source.
- Activate the desired alarm by pressing the ALARM 1 (2) or ALARM 2 (3) button. An indicator light will typically show when an alarm is active.
Using the Radio:
- Set the BAND Selector Switch (7) to AM or FM.
- Press the RADIO ON/OFF button (4).
- Use the TUNING UP (23) or TUNING DOWN (24) buttons to select a station.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME UP (21) or VOLUME DOWN (22) buttons.
Using the Sleep Timer:
- Press the SLEEP button (8) to activate the sleep timer. The radio will turn off automatically after a preset duration (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, or OFF).
Using the Display Dimmer:
- Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (1) repeatedly or use the DISPLAY DIMMER switch (14) to adjust the display brightness to HIGH or LOW for comfortable viewing.
Using the AUX IN Jack
This clock radio is equipped with an AUX IN jack to enjoy music from external audio sources such as an iPod®, MP3 player, or other audio devices.
- Turn on the clock radio by pressing the RADIO ON/OFF button (4).
- Connect your iPod, MP3 player, or other audio source from its earphone jack to the AUX IN JACK (27) on the clock radio using an appropriate audio cable (not included).
- Select the AUX input source if your device has a specific input selector, or ensure the clock radio is set to receive audio from the AUX input.
- Play music from your connected device. The sound will be output through the clock radio's speakers.
Protect Your Furniture
To prevent damage to your furniture, do not place the unit on a surface that may be affected by the rubber feet or on a surface where the unit might leave marks. Place a protective cloth or other protective barrier between the unit and the furniture surface.
