Preparation for Use
Unpacking and Set Up
Remove the radio from the carton and packing material. Save packing material for potential service returns. Remove any descriptive labels or stickers from the cabinet. Note the serial number for future reference. Place the radio on a level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Unwind the AC adapter line cord fully, as it serves as the FM antenna.
Protect Your Furniture
The unit has non-skid rubber feet. To prevent potential marking or residue on furniture from oil-based polishes or cleaners, it is recommended to apply self-adhesive felt pads to the bottom of the feet.
Power Source
Operates on 120V 60Hz AC power only. Connect to a 'live' AC outlet, not one controlled by a wall switch. The internal lithium battery maintains time and alarm settings during power interruptions. Keep connected to a live AC outlet to maximize battery life.
