Sustainability Certification
This product is a third-party certification according to ISO 14024, indicating it is a more sustainable product and aligns with the principles of 'Toward sustainable IT products'.
IT products carry sustainability risks throughout their lifecycle, including potential human rights violations in factories and the use of harmful substances. Products may also have short lifespans due to poor ergonomics or quality, or if they cannot be repaired or upgraded.
The Jabra Engage 50 II is presented as a better choice, meeting the criteria for TCO Certified, the world's most comprehensive sustainability certification for IT products. This choice helps drive progress towards a more sustainable future.
TCO Certified's criteria encompass a life-cycle perspective, balancing environmental and social responsibility. Conformity is verified by independent verifiers specializing in IT products and sustainability issues, with verification conducted both before and after certification issuance. The process includes ensuring corrective actions for factory non-conformities and regular reviews of TCO Certified and its verifiers.
