Wireless Charging
The TIMEBASE supports Qi compatible phones, including those with plastic cases up to 3mm thick.
- Place your Qi compatible device face up on the charging rest.
- Wireless Charging Status LED:
- Slow blinking LED: Device is charging properly.
- Solid LED: Device is charged.
- Rapid blinking LED: Device is not charging properly; reposition it. (Note: LED may continue to blink slowly for fully charged iOS devices.)
CAUTION: Remove any metal protective or magnetic case from your phone before charging. Do not place magnetic-striped or other metal objects on the charger, as this could damage the object or the unit. Phones with metallic-looking finishes will charge normally.
*Some larger phone cases may prevent charging. Remove the case for proper charging.
USB Charging
Connect the standard size end of a USB cable (not included) to the USB charging port on the back of the unit and the other end to your device's charging port. The unit must be plugged into a working outlet to charge devices.
Battery Back-up
The unit includes a CR-2450 back-up battery to maintain alarm and clock settings during temporary power failures. Remove the battery pull tab before use.
When the battery icon on the clock display flashes, it indicates the backup battery needs replacement. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit.
- Ensure the AC adapter is connected to prevent losing settings during replacement.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment door.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new CR-2450 battery, ensuring the '+' side faces you. Replace the compartment door. Do not overtighten screws.
WARNING: Lithium batteries can explode or cause burns if disassembled, shorted, recharged, exposed to water, fire, or high temperatures. Do not place loose batteries with metal objects, mix battery types, or store with hazardous materials. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area and follow disposal regulations.
Chemical Burn Hazard: Do not ingest the battery. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep batteries away from children. If the compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. Seek immediate medical attention if batteries are suspected to have been swallowed or placed inside the body.
Pay attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
