Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly. Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required. To help prevent damage to the product or vehicle, refer to the specified torque specifications when securing hardware during the installation process.
Maintenance
Inspect the unit for proper operation, and worn, damaged or missing parts. Replace as required or when the unit's wear exceeds 1/8" from the original surface. Check the hardware torque specification after the first 200 miles of towing and every 400 miles after that.

⚠️ WARNING
Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. Do not modify this mount in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and / or safety and could affect the life of the product and void the warranty. Maintain adequate vertical down (tongue) load to have control of the trailer (generally 10%), but do not exceed the specified rated capacities. Trailers and equipment are designed for on-road towing within the stated capacities. For off-road applications, reduce the capacities listed in the specifications table by 25%. Keep safety chains in place and in working order. Never operate the product without the safety chains attached to vehicle.
⚠️ CAUTION
Check for damaged parts before each use. Carefully check that the product will operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn parts immediately. Never operate the product with a damaged part.
Mounting a Pintle Hook or Hitch
Insert the pintle mount shank into the receiver hitch. The shank can be used in either the rise or drop position. Secure with a 5/8" hitch pin or lock (not included). Secure your attachment of choice using the hardware provided with the pintle mount. Do not fully tighten. Adjust the attachment to the required towing height. Tighten all bolts to 90 ft. lbs.
Note: Never exceed the rated capacity of the vehicle or lowest rated towing component.
