Safety Information

Installation Guide
1. Download the Meross app.

2. Plug the MSS620 into an outlet near your home's Wi-Fi signal.*
*Proximity to Wi-Fi is only required during initial setup. MSS620 only supports 2.4 GHz networks.
Device Setup
1. Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Ensure your smart device receives a strong Wi-Fi signal.
3. The smart device supports iOS 13/iPadOS 13 and later versions. It is recommended to update iOS or iPadOS to the latest version before pairing with the smart device.
4. Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap "Sign Up" to create a new account.
5. Tap the "+" icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can follow the setup wizard to complete the configuration.
6. Moving the smart device does not require additional steps as long as it remains on the same network with a strong Wi-Fi signal.
NOTE:
- Once setup is complete, you can manage the device from the Apple Home app.
- If the QR code does not work, try adding the smart device in the Apple Home app.

Waterproof IP44
The IP44 rating indicates protection against splashing water and dust. Ensure the plug is properly seated and the socket cover is closed when not in use to maintain water resistance.

- Fast blinking (twice per second): Starting / Connecting to Wi-Fi / No Internet connection / Resetting / Firmware updating.
- Slow blinking (once per second): Configuration mode.

Power Button
Press to turn both plugs ON or OFF. Press and hold (5 seconds) until the Status LED light blinks red rapidly to initiate factory reset.

- Swipe right on the Home or Lock screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of your widget list and tap "Edit".
- Scroll down the screen to find Meross and add it.
For Android smartphones:
- On the home screen, tap and hold in an empty area.

1. What devices can I control with the Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug?

2. Why is my Meross smart device not responding in the Apple Home app?
This is an issue with the Apple Home app. To resolve this, you need to exit and restart the Home app.
3. What can I do if I cannot control my smart device with the Meross app?
To resolve the issue, you can do the following:
- Check if your home Wi-Fi network is working properly.
- Ensure that access control is disabled on your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router's firmware.
- Reset your smart device to factory settings and try adding it again.

Transport and Shipping

Information on Usage Errors
Avoid using in excessively humid, hot, and cold environments; keep away from heat sources.
In case of natural events (lightning, thunder, etc.), disconnect the power.
Use a grounded outlet. Voltage inequality can cause damage to the device and fire hazards.
Keep devices away from children.
Do not perform any mechanical or electrical modifications; do not open the inside. All operations performed outside of authorized service will void the warranty.
Contact qualified service personnel for repair if any of the following conditions occur:
- Power cord is damaged or worn.
- Device has been exposed to any liquid.
- Device is not operating normally despite strictly following operating rules.
- Device has been dropped or damaged.
- There is an unexpected smell, heat, or smoke.
Consumer's Rights of Choice
In case of a defective product, the consumer can use one of the rights stated in Article 11 of Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers:
- a- Withdrawal from the contract,
- b- Requesting a discount on the sales price,
- c- Requesting free repair,

If the product's malfunction cannot be resolved within 10 business days, the manufacturer or importer is obliged to provide the consumer with another product of similar characteristics until the repair of the product is completed. If the product malfunctions within the warranty period, the repair time is added to the warranty period.
7. Malfunctions resulting from use contrary to the provisions of the user manual are not covered by the warranty.
8. The consumer can apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at their place of residence or where the consumer transaction took place, in case of disputes arising from the exercise of warranty rights.
9. If this Warranty Certificate is not provided by the seller, the consumer can apply to the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Commerce.
