Operation

Only operate the machine when it is in perfect condition. Before each operation, perform a visual inspection.

Operation Instructions:

Starting Electrical Support:

  1. Turn the ON-Off-Switch to Position „I“ for the left battery cartridge or Position „II“ for the right battery cartridge. Only one battery cartridge can be activated at a time.
  2. Select the direction of motor rotation (forward/backward) by pressing the button. The selected direction is indicated by arrows.
  3. Press the button to activate BAS (Brake Assistance) / deactivate EBS (Electronic Brake).
  4. Adjust the strength of the electrical support by pushing the lever. The further the lever is turned from its initial position, the stronger the support.
  5. NOTE: If EBS is activated, there is no electric drive assistance in forward or reverse direction.

Machine Stopping/Parking:

  1. Select active battery cartridge.
  2. EBS deactivated / BAS activated: Brake manually using the mechanic brake lever, especially on slopes. If the machine is to remain in position for a longer period, bring it onto level ground and secure it against rolling away.
  3. EBS activated: The machine brakes automatically and holds its position on slopes up to 20%. If the machine is to remain in position for a longer period, bring it onto level ground and secure it against rolling away.

NOTE: Braking function EBS requires battery energy and is designed for short times only (max. 15 minutes).
