USB Type-C® Notebook DockingStation
The new USB Type-C® Multi DockingStation from ICY BOX in elegant design and with Power Delivery technology has been developed for extra connectivity demands of computers with USB Type-C® interface and DisplayPortTM Alt Mode support. This allows up to two additional monitors to be connected, as well as external peripherals via USB, headset, memory cards and Gigabit LAN. With the upstream charging function via the USB Type-C® interface, you can charge the host computer with up to 60 W using a power supply unit with more than 100 watts of power. With the built-in USB 3.1 (Gen 2) ports, the DockingStation enables a super speed data transmission between USB peripherals.

Requirements
· Host computer with an available USB Type-C® port (To ensure full dock functionality, the host USB Type-C® port must support USB Power Delivery and DisplayPortTM Alt Mode or ThunderboltTM 3/4).
Note: The DockingStation can still connect to a host computer with a USB Type-C® port that does NOT support Power Delivery (but must still support DisplayPortTM Alt Mode). In this conguration, the DockingStation will NOT power your host computer.
· HDMI® and DisplayPortTM enabled display(s) with cables as needed (for additional external displays) · 4K-capable displays are required to achieve up to 3840x2160@30/60 Hz resolution (DP 1.4). · To reach the maximum supported resolutions, your host computer must at least support DisplayPortTM 1.4. · Any of the following operating systems: Windows®, macOS®
USB Type-C® Not all USB Type-C® ports support the full functionality of the USB Type-C® standard. Some ports might only provide data transfer and might not support video or Power Delivery over USB. To use this dock to its full potential, ensure that the host USB Type-C® port of your computer supports DisplayPortTM Alt Mode as well as USB Power Delivery or ThunderboltTM 3 / 4.
Starting up 1. Plug in the power supply
2. Connect the USB Type-C® to Type-C® cable to the supported USB Type-C® host interface of your computer and to the USB Type-C® host interface of the dock.
Note: Please check the manual of your notebook or the support hotline of your notebook manufacturer if the host USB Type-C® port supports USB Power Delivery and DisplayPortTM Alt Mode or ThunderboltTM 3 or 4.

3. Connect your peripherals to the appropriate interfaces on the dock.
Usage of memory card slots SD card (UHS-I) Insert the SD card into the SD card slot with the bevelled corner rst. The golden PIN's of the card must show upwards. microSD card (UHS-I) Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot with the bevelled corner rst. The golden PIN's of the card must show downwards. Single-LUN - the card reader can only work with one memory card at a time
4. Switch on the device
Power button function To power ON: Push the ON/OFF button for less than 1 sec and the dock turns on. Both the DockingStation and your connected notebook should now be powered. To power OFF: Push the ON/OFF button for more than 3 sec and the dock turns off. Congure a display device Please set up your display settings according to your operating system and your requirements. For detailed information, consult the corresponding computer manual and description of your operating system. Note: Video output capabilities are dependent on the graphics card and hardware specications of your connected host notebook. Certain graphics cards and operating systems have limited MST support, while some monitors will also limit the maximum resolution. Supported video resolutions The DockingStation supports 4K Ultra HD resolution if the connected HDMI®/ DisplayPortTM display and the graphics unit supports it.

Arrange your display Once the extra monitors are connected, they can be congured to mirror mode or extended mode (for only one additional monitor, a second monitor will only be mirrored).

- Select the corresponding monitor symbol by clicking and holding the symbol of the monitor to be placed.
To set up scaled resolutions of the monitor displays, click the Display tab and then in the opened window of the respective display set your desired views separately. Select the Scaled option and then select the appropriate size in the eld below.
Advanced display settings Hold down the option key, click again on Scaled and an advanced menu for resolution settings and repeat frequency settings opens up. Please select your preferred settings here.
Repeat for each monitor if necessary.

USB Type-C® Notebook DockingStation
Die neue USB Type-C® Multi DockingStation von ICY BOX im eleganten Design und mit Power Delivery Technologie wurde zur Anschlusserweiterung von Computern mit USB Type-C® Schnittstelle und DisplayPortTM Alt Mode Unterstützung entwickelt. Anforderungen

Hinweis: Die DockingStation kann auch an Hostcomputern mit USB Type-C® Schnittstelle OHNE Power Delivery Unterstützung genutzt werden (DisplayPortTM Alt Mode wird trotzdem benötigt). In diesem Fall kann das Notebook NICHT über die Type-C® Schnittstelle mit Strom versorgt werden.

Inbetriebnahme 1. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil entsprechend
2. Schließen Sie das USB Type-C® zu Type-C® Kabel an einen unterstützten Hostcomputer an und anschließend an die USB Type-C® Hostschnittstelle der DockingStation.

3. Schließen Sie Ihre Peripheriegeräte an die entsprechenden Schnittstellen an.
SD Karte (UHS-I) Schieben Sie die SD Karte mit der abgeschrägten Ecke voraus in den SD-Kartenschacht. Die goldenen Kontaktpunkte zeigen dabei nach oben. microSD Karte (UHS-I) Schieben Sie die microSD Karte mit der abgeschrägten Ecke voraus in den microSD Kartenschacht. 4. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein
Funktion der Ein/Aus Taste Zum Einschalten: Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus Taste für weniger als 1 Sekunde, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Beide Geräte werden nun mit Strom versorgt. Zum Ausschalten: Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus Taste für mehr als 3 Sekunden, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Monitoreinrichtung Zur optimalen Einstellung Ihrer Anzeigeeinheit gehen Sie bitte entsprechend Ihres Betriebssystems und Ihrer Bedürfnisse vor. Genauere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte dem Handbuch und den Beschreibungen Ihres Betriebssystems. Hinweis: Die Videoausgabemöglichkeiten hängen von der verwendeten Grakkarte und weiteren Hardwarespezikationen des angeschlossenen Hostcomputers ab. Bestimmte Grakkarten und Betriebssysteme verfügen nur über eingeschränkte MST- oder Videounterstützung, während auch einige Monitore nur geringere Auösungen unterstützen. Unterstützte Videoauösungen Die IB-DK2408-C unterstützt 4K Ultra HD Auösungen, wenn der angeschlossene HDMI®/DisplayPortTM Monitor und die Grakeinheit diese Auösung ebenfalls unterstützt.

Monitore anordnen Sobald zusätzliche Monitore angeschlossen sind, können diese entweder auf den Spiegelmodus oder den Erweiterungsmodus (nur für einen zusätzlichen Monitor, ein zweiter Monitor wird nur gespiegelt) konguriert werden.
