Part 1: Connect and Manage Cameras Using Mobile App
This section details how to connect and manage your Videolink IP cameras using the mobile application.
All software and manual downloads are available at: http://www.yucvision.com/videolink-Download.html.
To begin, download the "Videolink" mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on your mobile phone.
Upon first launch, you will need to register an account using your email address or mobile phone number. Once registered, log in to the app.
1. Configure the Camera Using Wi-Fi
- Ensure your camera has Wi-Fi functionality. Before connecting the power adapter, verify that the camera's LAN port is not connected to an Ethernet cable. If it is, disconnect the cable and press the reset button for 5 seconds to restore factory settings. After connecting power, wait approximately 10 seconds.
- Connect your mobile phone to your Wi-Fi router via Wi-Fi.
- Open the Videolink app and tap the "Add" button.
- Select "Wi-Fi". The app will automatically detect your mobile phone's Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password (your wireless router's password) and tap "Next".
Image Description (Figures 1-3): These figures show the mobile app interface. Figure 1 displays an "Adding smart Devices" screen with options like Wi-Fi, 4G, and Wired connection. Figure 2 shows the Wi-Fi selection screen, prompting the user to connect to a 2.4GHz network if their Wi-Fi is 5GHz. Figure 3 shows the screen after selecting Wi-Fi, with a "NEXT" button to proceed.
After proceeding from the initial configuration prompt, wait a few seconds. The app will automatically transition to the next interface. The camera will then attempt to match the code using sound waves. A "di" sound from the phone indicates a successful connection to your wireless router via Wi-Fi.
If your camera lacks both a microphone and speaker, sound wave matching may not be possible. In such cases, you can add the camera by aligning the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens.
Tapping the camera in the interface will take you to the camera's monitoring and management interface. The camera has now been successfully added.
Image Description (Figures 4-8): Figure 4 shows a prompt indicating the device is entering configuration mode. Figure 5 shows the "Device scan QR code" screen, instructing to place the QR code before the camera. Figure 6 indicates a successful Wi-Fi transfer. Figure 7 shows the monitoring interface with a camera feed. Figure 8 displays the main monitoring and management interface, showing camera feeds and controls like HD, PTZ, Zoom, and Playback.
2. Add a Camera by Scanning a QR Code
This method is for cameras without Wi-Fi functionality.
- Connect the camera to your switch/router using an Ethernet cable and connect the power adapter.
- In the app, select "Wired connection camera".
- Navigate to the QR code scanning interface. Point your mobile phone at the QR code on the camera body to scan it.
- After a successful scan, provide a custom name for the camera and tap "BIND IT" to complete the addition.

Figure 10 displays the "Scan QR code" interface, prompting the user to place the QR code in a box. Figure 11 shows the "Bind Device" screen where you can name the camera (e.g., "Living Room"). Figure 12 shows the monitoring interface after the camera has been added.
3. Add Cameras via LAN Connection
If the camera's QR code is not accessible, you can add it via LAN search.
- Click "Click here to add a device" on the app's search page.
- The app will automatically search for cameras on the LAN. Once found, tap the camera to complete the addition.
