How to download the APP "VideoLink"

Please visit your App store or Google Play, scan the QR code below, or search for 'VideoLink' to download the App. The device supports Android/iOS.

Product Features

The device features include:

Diagram Description: The device has a digital display for time, date, and temperature. Buttons for Bluetooth, volume, and settings are located on the top. The rear of the device houses speakers, a reset hole, power switch, TF card slot, and a Type-C charging port.

Function Description

Atmosphere Light On/OffPress the atmosphere light button [light-symbol] twice to toggle the atmosphere light. (Note: Some product models may not have this feature.)
Volume ControlPress '+' or '-' to adjust the volume up or down.
Previous/Next SongPress and hold '+' to switch to the next song; press and hold '-' to switch to the previous song.
Date/Time SettingPress the setting button [settings-symbol] to enter year setting, then use '+' or '-' to adjust. Continue pressing the setting button to cycle through month, day, hour, and minute settings, adjusting each with '+' or '-'. Connecting a mobile phone via Bluetooth allows for fast time synchronization.
Clock 1 SettingPress '<' to turn on Clock 1; press '<' again to turn off Clock 1. Press and hold '<' for 3 seconds to enter hour setting, adjust with '+' or '-'. Continue to press '<' to enter minute setting, adjust with '+' or '-'. Press '<' again to select alarm ringtone and complete setup.
Clock 2 SettingPress '>' to turn on Clock 2; press '>' again to turn off Clock 2. Press and hold '>' for 3 seconds to enter hour setting, adjust with '+' or '-'. Continue to press '>' to enter minute setting, adjust with '+' or '-'. Press '>' again to select alarm ringtone and complete setup.
Brightness AdjustmentPress and hold the brightness button [brightness-symbol] for 3 seconds. Brightness cycles through 4 levels: brightest > bright > dark > off > brightest.
Status Light
  • Bluetooth Light: Flashing indicates waiting for connection; solid light means connected successfully.
  • Atmosphere Light: On when the light is on, off when the light is off.
  • Clock 1 Light: On when Clock 1 is on, off when Clock 1 is off.
  • Clock 2 Light: On when Clock 2 is on, off when Clock 2 is off.

App Connection

To connect the device via the app:

  1. Open your app store or Google Play, search for 'VideoLink', and download the app. Complete user registration as prompted.
  2. Place the camera as close as possible to your router.
  3. Connect the device to the power supply.
  4. Pair the camera by following the "Add Device" instructions within the app.

Note: Ensure the app is updated to the latest version for full functionality.

Equipment Power-on Instruction

Upon powering up, the device will display the Bluetooth light and time, indicating it is running. This state lasts for about one minute. After hearing a prompt tone, the device is ready for WiFi configuration or scan code addition.

Register an Account

Follow these steps to register an account:

  1. Open the "VideoLink" APP and click "Create Account".
  2. Select your country from the list and click "OK".
  3. Enter your email address, then tap "Get" to receive a verification code via email. Set your password and tap "Create Account" to complete registration.

Add the Device

  1. Input your username and password to log into the "VideoLink" APP.
  2. Tap the '+' icon or "Add New device".
  3. Choose "Dual-band Wi-Fi" (2.4GHz/5GHz).
  4. Input your WiFi network name (SSID) and password, then tap "Next Step".
  5. After hearing the device's voice prompt, tap "I have heard the voice".
  6. Hold the QR code displayed on your phone facing the camera at a distance of approximately 10-30 cm (4-12 inches) for reference.
  7. Tap "Next step" if the process takes too long.

After adding the camera, it will appear on the APP homepage. Click on the device to open the preview.

Note: To change the connected WiFi network, press and hold the device's REST button and reconfigure. To switch to the camera's WiFi Hotspot mode, press the RESET button for 1 second until a prompt tone is heard. The Hotspot password is 88888888.

How to Share the Device

To share the device with others:

  1. On the first user account, follow the on-screen instructions to share the device.
  2. Shared user accounts must be registered in advance.
  3. You can manually enter the shared account details (e.g., email).

Wireless Charge

Place any compatible smartphone on the top of the device to initiate wireless charging. The device must remain powered on during wireless charging.

Note: The charger for the device requires 12V. Use the provided charger; other chargers may not be compatible.

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Power up the device.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button [bluetooth-symbol] for 5 seconds; the "BT" indicator on the device screen will flash.
  3. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for the device named "YSA-XXXX". Tap to connect; a "Connected" confirmation will appear.
  4. The "BT" indicator will remain lit once Bluetooth is successfully connected.
  5. You can now play music or videos from your smartphone or tablet through the device.

Q & A (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. Account Can't Login

Q: Verify the email again or after changing the password, but still prompt for incorrect username or password.
A: If the email has not registered an account or has been logged out, an error message will be displayed. Please click "Create Account" to register.
Q: Prompt error -1 or 404.
A: Check your phone's network connection, try changing Wi-Fi or mobile data, and log in again.

2. Pairing Process Prompts Error Messages

Q: When pairing the device, "Pairing failure" is displayed.
A: Please restart the device. The device needs to be paired within ten minutes of being turned on. After powering off and restarting, it can be paired again.
Q: When pairing, it prompts that the user has already been registered.
A: After restoring the device to factory settings, try pairing again.

3. Prompt for device offline or delayed after logging in

Q: The device prompts offline.
A: Check your device's online status. Offline situations are usually caused by network disconnection or power supply issues. Verify the power supply and network connection. If the network interface light is on but not blinking, check if the network connection is normal (e.g., router background device list shows connection).
Q: The picture is severely stuck.
A1: Poor network conditions or Wi-Fi signal.
A2: Multiple users are watching simultaneously, causing the buffer to fill.
A3: Video frame rate and resolution settings are too high. Reduce them to improve smoothness and stability.

4. An exception occurred during network connection

Q: It indicates that the wireless connection has failed. Please check configuration information and pair again.
A: During the setup process, the device's prompt tone may overlap with the phone's sound wave, causing unclear recognition. Wait for configuration prompts before proceeding.

5. Incorrect WiFi information.

Q: The wireless password is incorrect, please pair again.
A: Enter the correct password for pairing.

6. Playback or storage abnormal

A1: Check the memory card's storage status. If the card is full or not formatted, try replacing it with a reputable brand (e.g., Kingston, Sandisk, Samsung). Expansion cards are not supported.
A2: Check if the device's firmware/software version is the latest. Update if necessary via the settings interface (Settings → System Information → Check for Updates).
