Key Features

Installation

Installation Diagram Description: The system comprises a solar panel, a controller unit, a water filter, an inlet pipe (IN Pipe), an outlet pipe (OUT Pipe), several T-connectors, drippers, a water level sensor with two probes (one with a longer cable, one with a shorter cable), and an anti-siphon device. The solar panel is positioned to receive sunlight and connects to the controller. The controller manages the pump, which draws water from a container via the inlet pipe (equipped with a filter) and distributes it through the outlet pipe to the drippers via T-connectors. The water level sensor is placed in the water container to monitor the water level.

Components:

Note: For the water level sensor, the short probe must be positioned higher than the long probe.

Installation Steps:

  1. Fix the controller near the water source using screws. Ensure its height above the water level is less than 1.5 meters.
  2. Position the solar panel in a location with direct sunlight. Use the ground stake to insert it into the soil. Adjust the solar panel's angle by loosening and tightening the screws on the ground rod to maximize sunlight reception.
  3. Install the inlet water pipe, outlet water pipe, T-connectors, drippers, and filter according to the diagram. The watering flow rate is approximately 400mL/min (total output from all drippers). Select the number of drippers and watering frequency based on the plants' water needs.

Operation Instructions

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to power the system on or off.
  2. Press the MODE button to set the watering time. There are 12 available settings. Each press of the MODE button initiates one watering cycle and restarts the timer.

Watering Schedule:

Water Level Sensor Operation: The system is equipped with a water level sensor with two probes. When the water level drops below the shorter probe (meaning one probe is out of the water), the system will alarm (? sounds twice per minute), and the green indicator light on the MODE button will flash twice. The system will then stop working. After refilling the water, the system will resume its previous watering program.

Pump Idling Alarm: If the water pump runs dry, the system will alarm (? sounds twice per minute), and the green indicator light on the MODE button will flash. This could be due to a clogged pump or filter, or a lack of water in the container. Solutions include unblocking the pump (using warm water and a syringe, not included), cleaning the filter, or adding water. After troubleshooting, restart the product.

Dripper Clogged Alarm: If drippers are blocked, the system will alarm (? sounds twice per minute), and the green indicator light will be steady on. Clean the drippers and restart the device.

Low Power State: When system power is low, the red indicator light on the MODE button flashes for 30 seconds and then turns off. The blue indicator light also turns off, and the system enters standby mode. When recharged by sunlight, it will automatically return to the working state (blue light on) and resume its watering schedule.

Solar Panel Connection Status: A steady red light on the MODE button indicates a good solar panel connection. If the red light is off, the solar panel is poorly connected or damaged.
