Product Overview
The system consists of a host mainframe, water pipes, a filter, outlet pipework, three direct links, drippers, and a water level sensor.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the setup where the host mainframe with a solar panel is connected to a water source (e.g., a bucket) via a filter and water pipe. The water pipe then branches out using direct links and pipes to multiple drippers, each positioned above a potted plant.
Panel Schematic
The control panel features an ON/OFF button, a MODE button for selecting watering frequency, and LEVEL buttons. Indicator lights show the watering frequency (e.g., 12 hours/5 minutes, 24 hours/5 minutes) and system status (low power, water shortage).
Diagram Description: The control panel shows two large circular buttons labeled ON/OFF and MODE. Below the MODE button are indicators for watering frequency: 12 hours with 5, 15, 20 minute watering options, and 24 hours with 5, 15, 20 minute watering options. There are also smaller buttons labeled LEVEL, OUT, and IN, along with indicator lights.
Installation Diagram
Diagram Description: The installation diagram shows the solar panel unit mounted on a stake or wall. A water pipe with a filter extends from the unit into a water container. The water pipe then splits to feed multiple drippers, each watering a plant.
Operation Instructions
- Mount the product in a location with direct sunlight, ensuring the solar panel faces the sun and the side with the switch button faces down. Use the ground stake or screws for mounting.
- Adjust the angle of the solar panel for maximum sunlight exposure by loosening and tightening the ground rod screws.
- Connect the water inlet pipe, water outlet pipe, tees, and drippers as per the installation diagram. The watering flow is approximately 400mL/min. Adjust the number of drippers and watering frequency based on plant needs.
- Press the ON/OFF switch button to power the product on or off.
- Press the MODE button to select the watering frequency. For example, selecting the first position (12 hours, 5 minutes) means the system will water for 5 minutes every 12 hours. Each press of the MODE button resets the timing.
- When the water level is lower than the short-cable probe (meaning one probe is out of the water), the system will alarm (buzzer sounds twice per minute).
System Status and Alarms
- Water Shortage Alarm: When the water pump is idling or the water level is low, the system will alarm. The buzzer sounds twice per minute during the day, and only the indicator light flashes at night. The green indicator light on the MODE button flashes. This can be due to a blocked pump or filter, or insufficient water. Clean the pump and filter, or refill the water source. The pump can be unclogged by injecting warm water into the inlet with a syringe (not included). After troubleshooting, restart the product.
- Low Power Indicator: The red indicator light on the ON/OFF button flashes when the system's power is low. After 30 seconds, the red light and the blue gear indicator turn off, and the system enters standby mode. When recharged by sunlight, the system returns to working state (blue light on) and performs a watering cycle.
