Introduction and Components
The VXE R1 Series mouse is designed for precision and speed. Below are the key components and features of the device.
Mouse Components
- 1. Left Button: Primary click function.
- 2. Right Button: Secondary click function.
- 3. Scroll Wheel / Middle Button: Used for scrolling and as a middle click.
- 4. DPI Button: Cycles through DPI settings.
- 5. Scroll Wheel: For vertical scrolling.
- 6. Side Button (Forward): Programmable function, often used for forward navigation.
- 7. Side Button (Backward): Programmable function, often used for backward navigation.
- 8. Power Switch / Mode Switch: Controls power and connection mode.
- 9. USB-C Charging Port: For wired connection and charging.
- 10. Optical Sensor: Tracks mouse movement.
- 11. Receiver Storage Compartment: Securely stores the wireless receiver when not in use.
- 12. ON/OFF Switch: Main power control.

Quick Start Guide
1. Charging / Wired Mode
Connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. This allows for wired operation and charging of the internal battery.
2. Wireless Mode
Insert the wireless USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. Ensure the mouse's power switch is in the ON position. The mouse is designed for optimal performance within 2 meters and has a maximum range of 10 meters.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
To pair via Bluetooth, press and hold the left, middle, and right buttons simultaneously until the indicator light flashes. This indicates the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Follow your operating system's instructions to connect.
4. DPI Settings
The mouse features on-the-fly DPI adjustment. Press the DPI button located on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through preset DPI levels:
- 400 DPI: Indicator light is Red.
- 800 DPI: Indicator light is Green.
- 1600 DPI: Indicator light is Blue.
- 3200 DPI: Indicator light is Purple.

5. Polling Rate Settings
The polling rate can be adjusted using the VXE software. This setting determines how frequently the mouse reports its position to the computer, affecting responsiveness.
6. Battery Indication
The LED indicator on the mouse provides information about the battery status:
- Blinking Red: Battery level is below 10%. Please charge the mouse.
- Blinking Yellow: The mouse is currently charging.
- Solid Green: The mouse is fully charged.
