Item #1006 619 062 | Model #93240
Package Contents
- A - Lamp body x 1
- B - Stake with foot step x 1
- C - Connector with 12 in. wire length (attached to fixture) x 1
Diagram shows three components labeled A, B, and C. Component A is the lamp body. Component B is a stake with a footstep for ground insertion. Component C is a wire connector with an attached 12-inch wire.
Assembly and Installation
1. Attaching and Installing the Light
- Insert the fixture wire into the wire connector (C) into the groove on the top of the ground stake (B).
- Attach the lamp body (A) onto the top of the ground stake (B). Ensure the fixture wire on the wire connector (C) stays centered in the stake's groove to prevent damage.
- Prepare a hole for installation, ensuring it is not larger than the stake (B).
- Install the fixture by pushing the foot step (1) on the stake (B) into the ground. Do not push down on the lamp body (A).
- Rotate the knob on the side of the lamp body (A) to adjust the light's direction up or down.
- Select the desired Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) by rotating the knob behind the lamp body (aa) clockwise or counter-clockwise. Options are 2700K warm white, 3000K warmest white, or 4000K bright white.
Diagram illustrates the assembly process. It shows the lamp body (A) attaching to the stake (B). The wire connector (C) is shown being inserted into a groove on the stake. A close-up detail highlights the adjustment knob (aa) located on the side of the lamp body.
2. Connecting the Wires
- Warning: The wire connector contacts (C) have sharp edges. Do not touch the metal contacts to avoid injury.
- Caution: Use 12-16 AWG underground Low Energy Circuit Cable for the low voltage power unit.
- Important: Protect wiring by routing it near the light or a structure (house, deck). Do not bury wiring more than 6 inches (15.24 cm) deep. Do not submerge fixtures in water.
- Separate the wire connector (C) and place it on opposite sides of the low voltage cable (not included) where the fixture will be.
- Align the main low voltage cable vertically in the connector's slot.
- Press the wire connector (C) together until it is fully seated and locked. The pre-set prongs will pierce the cable insulation to establish contact.
- Turn on the power unit. If the light does not turn on, repeat steps 2 and 3.
- For added protection, wrap the clip-on connector with electrical tape (not included).
Diagrams illustrate the wire connection steps. One shows the wire connector (C) being positioned on a low voltage cable. Another shows the connector being pressed together to pierce the cable insulation. A final image depicts the securely connected wire connector.

Troubleshooting
Problem: The lights do not turn on.
- Possible Cause: No power.
- Solution: Check the outlet and ensure that a breaker or GFCI circuit has not been tripped.
- Possible Cause: There is a disconnection or break in the wire.
- Solution: Follow the wires from the fixture and ensure a continuous connected path back to the transformer.
- Possible Cause: The transformer setting is incorrect.
- Solution: Check the settings on the transformer.
Problem: The lights flicker.
- Possible Cause: There is a loose wire connector to the fixture.
- Solution: Tighten the wire connector and ensure the metal contacts pierce the insulation on the low voltage cable from the transformer.
Problem: The lights flicker (all fixtures).
- Possible Cause: There is a loose connection at the transformer.
- Solution: Unplug the transformer from the outlet and visually inspect the positive and negative connecting posts. Each wire should be securely screwed in and not in contact with any other.
