User guide for the Sena RC4 headset remote control.

Installation

Getting Started

Replacing the Battery

Button Operation

  • Tap: Tapping the button.
  • Double Tapping: Tapping the button twice.
  • Press for 1 sec: Pressing and holding the button for one second.

Power On/Off

Power On: Tap the Center Button.

Deep Sleep: Press the (+) Button, then the Center Button, then press and hold for 1 second.

Battery Check

The LED indicates battery status:

  • 70% ~ 100%: [Full Battery Indicator]
  • 30% ~ 70%: [Medium Battery Indicator]
  • 0% ~ 30%: [Low Battery Indicator]

Bluetooth Pairing

Remote Control Pairing: Press the (+) Button for 8 seconds.

Pairing requires a headset.

Note: You can control the headset using the RC4 only after you pair them together. The RC4 supports Sena headsets with Bluetooth 4.1 or higher.

Headset Control

To control your headset using the RC4, please refer to the Quick Reference Guide for button operations on functions such as phone, music, and intercom.

Note: The Multifunction Button remotely controls special buttons such as the Ambient Mode Button of the 20S and the Camera Button of the 10C. Please refer to the Quick Reference Guide for more details.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

RF Exposure Statement

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. End users must follow the specific operating instructions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The antenna used for this transmitter must not transmit simultaneously with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product procedures. When equipped, the distance between antenna and one's lim is 0mm.
