Overview
The Tripp Lite PDUMH20HVATNET Switched Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) PDU provides a redundant power solution for single-corded network devices. It features dual input cords that connect to separate PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS unit maintains continuous output to all connected devices, typically drawing power from the primary input. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails, the ATS automatically switches to the secondary power source within milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation until the primary input is restored and stable. This PDU also offers individually controllable output receptacles and a built-in network interface for remote management. It supports fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS, and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. Advanced configurations are supported, including separate mains circuits, backup generators, and even separate utility power grid feeds. The on-board ATS processor continuously evaluates power quality on both inputs to prevent switching to a secondary source of lower quality. Front panel LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability. The integrated LX Platform network management interface card enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet, or SSH, supporting 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing Ethernet communication.
