Nedis ZBSM10WT Zigbee Motion Sensor

Intended Use

The Nedis ZBSM10WT is a wireless, battery-powered motion sensor designed for indoor use. It connects to the Nedis SmartLife app via a Zigbee gateway, allowing for motion detection monitoring and automation programming. It is not intended for professional use.

Safety Instructions

Keep batteries out of reach of children. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not disassemble, open, or shred batteries. Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight. Do not short-circuit batteries. Handle batteries with care to avoid leaks; if leakage occurs, wash affected areas with water and seek medical advice. Observe polarity (+/-). Use only recommended batteries. Keep batteries clean and dry. Remove batteries when not in use. Some wireless products may interfere with medical devices; consult your medical equipment manufacturer.

Connecting to the Zigbee Gateway

1. Ensure the Zigbee gateway is connected to the Nedis SmartLife app. Refer to the gateway's manual for connection instructions.
2. Open the Nedis SmartLife app on your phone.
3. Select the Zigbee gateway to access its interface.
4. Tap 'Add subdevice'.
5. Remove the battery insulation tab (A3). The status indicator LED (A2) will start blinking, indicating pairing mode is active.
6. If the LED does not blink, press and hold the function button (A1) for 5 seconds to manually enter pairing mode.
7. Tap to confirm that the LED (A2) is blinking.

The sensor will appear in the app upon successful connection.

Installing the Sensor

1. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape.
2. Stick the product onto a clean and flat surface.

The product is now ready for use.

The app displays the sensor's measured values. From the sensor's interface, you can:

• 2. View Battery Life
• 3. View Detection History
• 4. Access Settings
• 5. Set Low Battery Alarm: Tap 'Set alarm' to enable or disable the low battery alarm for the selected sensor.

Creating an Automated Action

1. Open the Nedis SmartLife app on your phone.
2. Tap 'Smart scenes' at the bottom of the home screen.
3. Tap 'Automation' to open the automation interface.
4. Tap '+' in the top right corner.
5. Configure the desired options to create an automation.
6. Tap 'Save'.

The new automation will appear in the automation interface.

Removing the Product from the App

1. Open the sensor interface.
2. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap 'Remove Device'.

Disposal

This product is subject to separate collection at an appropriate collection point. Do not dispose of the product with household waste. For more information, contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for waste management.
