Installation Location

Diagram showing clearance requirements: A diagram illustrates the required clearances around the washing machine: 25mm on the top, right, and left, and 51mm on the rear.

Ambient Temperature

The washing machine should not be positioned where water freezes easily, as water in the valve, pump, and hose can freeze and damage parts. Position the machine in an environment with ambient temperatures between 0°C and 40°C and relative humidity below 95% (at 25°C) for convenient and safe use.

Unpacking the Washing Machine

Removing the Shipping Bolts

Before using the washing machine, remove all shipping bolts from the back. To do this:

  1. Loosen all shipping bolts with the spanner.
  2. Take each bolt head and pull it out from the hole. Repeat for all shipping bolts.
  3. Fill the holes with the supplied bolt caps.

Diagrams illustrate loosening bolts, removing bolts, and filling holes with caps.

⚠️ WARNING: Packing materials can be dangerous to children. Keep packing materials (plastic bags, foamed plastic, shipping bolts, etc.) well out of reach. Do not cut off the fixing belt of the drain hose. Do not remove the screw fixing the belt of the drain hose.

Adjusting the Adjustable Feet

If the floor is uneven, adjust the feet. Do not insert wood or other objects under the feet.

  1. Turn left to loosen the feet nuts with the spanner.
  2. Adjust the feet to the desired height: turn counter-clockwise for higher, clockwise for lower.
  3. Tighten the feet nuts with the spanner.
  4. Check if the feet are leveled. The machine is level when all four feet do not shake relative to the ground. To check: Press diagonally opposite corners at the top of the machine to see if it shakes. Readjust the feet if necessary.

Diagrams show adjusting feet using a spanner and checking for levelness.

Water Inlet Installation

Tap Selection

The tap end should be longer than 10mm, and its exit face should be flat and smooth to avoid leakage. Diagrams show suitable and unsuitable taps.

Connect the Inlet Hose Connector to the Tap

  1. Press the slider and remove the inlet hose connector from the inlet hose.
  2. Loosen the four bolts on the inlet hose connector to access the tap. Set the connector onto the tap. If the tap caliber is too large, unscrew the bolts and remove the bushing. Ensure the tap exit end is flat to prevent leaks.
  3. Fasten the four bolts on the inlet hose connector evenly.
  4. Twist the nut as illustrated. Note: Before twisting, the threading is about 4mm above the nut's surface; after twisting, it should be less than 2mm above.

Diagrams illustrate the connection process.

If using a screw-type water tap, use the provided screw-type adaptor.

Positioning the Drain Hose

Ensure the drain hose is fixed and does not move or become loose to prevent leakage and property loss. The end of the drain hose can be positioned in three ways:

  1. Over the edge of a wash basin: The end must be placed lower than 90cm from the ground. Secure it with a hook or string to prevent movement and avoid bending that affects water flow.
  2. In a floor drain directly: Ensure the drain hose height from the floor drain is less than 90cm. The end of the drain hose should not be immersed in water.
  3. In a sink drain hose branch: The highest point of the drain hose must be lower than 90cm.

Diagrams illustrate the three drain hose positioning methods.

Operations

Inspection and Preparation Before Washing

To prevent machine faults and laundry damage, pay attention to the following:

  1. Sort Laundry: Sort by soil, color, and lint. Turn cotton laundry inside out and wash separately, or other laundry may get stained. Wash black laundry and cottons separately from light-colored items to prevent lint transfer.
  2. Empty Pockets: Check and empty pockets. Hard objects like decorations and coins can damage the machine or cause faults.
  3. Prepare Garments: Remove metal decorations and zip up zippers. Buckle collars and turn garments inside out. Button up jeans and overalls. Wash winter jackets, overalls, bedspreads, and jeans separately. Straighten clothes before loading. Wash curtains after removing hooks. Turn garments with buttons or embroidery inside out. Tie strings to prevent tangling.
  4. Wash Small Articles: Underwear and small items like stockings should be washed in a washing mesh bag to prevent damage to the laundry, inner drum, or door seal.
  5. Pre-wash Stains: Pre-wash areas like white stockings, collars, and cuffs with a brush before machine washing. Use powder or liquid detergents; soap residues can remain in seams and the drum.
  6. Check for Stains and Colorfastness: Do not leave laundry in the machine for long periods, as it may get mildewed or stained. If washing new colored items for the first time, check for fading by wiping an inconspicuous area with a white towel.
  7. Clean Laundry: Remove dust, sludge, and pet hair from laundry to prevent damage and affect washing results.
  8. Baby's Laundry: Wash baby's clothes and towels separately from adult laundry to protect the baby's skin.

Using Methods of Detergents and Additives

The detergent drawer has compartments for softener, pre-wash detergent, and main wash detergent.

⚠️ CAUTION: Never open the detergent box while the machine is running. Use "low foam" detergent specific to drum washing machines. Excessive detergent can cause rinsing issues or functional faults. Refer to detergent manufacturer instructions for proper usage based on fabric type, color, water temperature, and stain level. Using the right amount of detergent is good for washing effect and the environment. Do not use capsule detergent. Liquid detergent may harden in reservation or pre-wash functions. If detergent spills, wipe it away immediately with a wet cloth.

Control Panel

The control panel includes the following:

  1. Power Button: Turns the washing machine on or off.
  2. Start/Pause Button: Starts or pauses the program.
  3. Manual Setting Buttons: Customize options and functions (see page 22 for details). Available options vary by program.
  4. Program Button: Selects the wash program.
  5. Program Name: Indicates the selected program, which will blink. Select based on laundry type.
  6. Display: Shows settings (temperature, times), remaining time, options, status, and error codes (see page 32 for details).

NOTE: The washing machine automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity. Do not touch the control panel with wet hands, gloves, or bandages. Touch directly with your finger. Do not use sharp objects on the control panel.
