Model Overview
American Range offers a variety of 36-inch wide restaurant ranges, available in configurations with open burners, griddles, or a combination of both. These units are designed for durability and performance in demanding commercial environments.
Available Models: AR-6, AR-24G-2B, AR-12G-4B, AR-36G, and their convection oven ('C') or storage base ('SB') variants.
Standard Features
- Commercial gas range: 36" wide, 32 1/2" depth, 36" cooking height.
- Construction: Stainless steel front, sides, and 6" deep front landing ledge.
- Legs: Adjustable 6" legs.
- Riser Options: Choose from a 6" high stainless steel stub back, a high riser, or a high riser with a shelf at no additional charge.
- Warranty: Two-year limited warranty covering parts and labor.
Burner and Griddle Configurations
Open Burners
- Grates: Heavy-duty 12" x 12" cast-iron top grates.
- Burner Output: 32,000 BTU/hr lift-off open burners with anti-clog design.
- Drip Pan: Removable full-width drip pan located under the burners.
- Optional: 18" x 18" wide burner available.
Griddles
- Plate: 1" thick steel griddle plate.
- Grease Collection: 3" wide grease collector.
- Burner Output: One burner per 12" section, rated at 20,000 BTU/hr.
- Controls: Manual control valve for each burner.
- Optional: Thermostatic griddle with modulating thermostat for precise temperature control.

Standard Oven
- Burner Output: 30,000 BTU/hr steel oven burner.
- Interior Dimensions: 26 1/2"W x 22 1/2"D x 13 1/2"H.
- Temperature Control: Thermostat adjustable from 250°F to 500°F (121°C to 260°C).
- Door: Spring-assisted, counterweight door for smooth operation.
- Racks: Two fixed rack positions; two chrome-plated oven racks included (additional racks optional).
- Interior Finish: Porcelain enamel oven interior for easy cleaning.
- Safety: 100% safety gas shut-off.
Convection Oven (Replaces Standard Oven)
- Burner Output: 35,000 BTU/hr steel oven burner.
- Interior Dimensions: 26 1/2"W x 22 1/2"D x 13 1/2"H.
- Temperature Control: Thermostat adjustable from 250°F to 500°F (121°C to 260°C).
- Racks: Two chrome-plated oven racks included (additional racks optional).
- Rack Guides: Chrome rack guides with five tray positions.

Convection Oven Electrical: 120V, 1 Phase, 4 Amps (requires a 15 amp three-prong cord).
Dimensions: Overall dimensions are approximately 36"W x 32 1/2"D x 56"H (including riser).
Wall Clearances: For use only on non-combustible floors. Legs or casters are required, or a 2" (51 mm) overhang is required when curb mounted. Clearance from non-combustible walls is 0". When placed next to combustible walls, clearances must exceed 12" (305 mm) from sides and 4" (102 mm) from the rear. Refer to NFPA96 for ventilation requirements.
