Disassembly Instructions

Step 1: Accessing Internal Components

The Compaq 6720s laptop is open, revealing the internal components. The hard drive bay and RAM slots are visible.

Turn the Compaq 6720s laptop over.
Remove the HDD cover and RAM cover, unscrewing all securing screws.
Release the DVD drive by removing three screws located underneath it. Ensure the screw beneath the HDD is also removed.

Step 2: Power Button Cover Removal

Turn the laptop right side up and open it.
Gently pull the power button cover upwards. Start by lifting the edge closest to the screen, then proceed to lift the parallel edge. A pry tool may be necessary for this step.

Reassembly

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
