Foreword

This manual introduces the structure and installation of the Solid State Drive (SSD). It is intended for reference only. In case of any inconsistency between the manual and the actual product, the actual product shall prevail.

Safety Instructions

Read the following safety instructions carefully before using the SSD. Follow the instructions and keep this manual properly.

• Do not place or install the product in a place exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources.
• Keep the product installed horizontally or on a stable place to prevent it from falling.
• Do not drop or splash liquid onto the product, and ensure no liquid-filled objects are placed on it to prevent liquid from flowing into the product.
• Install the product in a well-ventilated place and do not block its ventilation openings.
• Operate the product within the rated range of power input and output.
• Do not disassemble the product.
• Transport, use, and store the product under the allowed humidity and temperature conditions.

Signal Words:

• DANGER: Indicates a high potential hazard which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
• WARNING: Indicates a medium or low potential hazard which, if not avoided, could result in slight or moderate injury.

Chapter 1 Product Structure

1.1 Dimensions

The SSD has the following dimensions:

Length: 100.15 mm (+0.3/-0.72 mm)

Width: 69.85 mm (+0.25/-0.42 mm)

Height: 7 mm (+0.25/-0.50 mm)

1.2 Ports

The SSD has two main ports:

• Data Port: Connects the SSD to the SATA data port on devices such as a PC using a SATA data cable.
• Power Port: Connects the SSD to the SATA power port on devices such as a PC using a SATA power cable.

Note: SATA data and power cables are not included with the SSD and must be purchased separately.

1.3 Packing List

Upon receiving the product, check the outer packaging for obvious damage. After opening the package, check if all accessories are present according to the packing list:

Chapter 2 SSD Installation

2.1 Preparation

Before installation, ensure that your PC motherboard supports the selected SSD and has sufficient SATA slots for the SSD to be used independently.

Installation Environment Requirements

2.2 Installing SSD

There are two installation methods:

Cable Connection Installation

Connect the SATA data cable and power cable to the motherboard and the SSD respectively to complete the installation.

Direct Insertion Installation

Insert the SSD's data and power interfaces directly into the corresponding ports on the motherboard to complete the installation.

Appendix 1 Precautions for Use

General Precautions:

• Ensure your PC M.2 port supports PCIe3.0 bandwidth for optimal performance.
• Windows 7 operating system does not natively support the NVMe protocol. For Windows 7 users, it is recommended to download a standard NVMe driver from the internet or use Windows 8.1 or above, or a Linux operating system.
• Dahua Technology reserves the right to change designs and appearances to improve the product.

Warranty Description:

1. For faults caused by the product itself within the warranty period, please contact the seller or Dahua's after-sales service.

Non-Warranty Scope: The following situations are not covered by the warranty:

• Products with no product serial number, warranty card, or with unclear, damaged, or unrecognizable product serial numbers and labels.
• Products that are past their warranty period or have exceeded their lifespan (TBW).

This table is compiled in accordance with the provisions of SJ/T 11364.

Explanation of Symbols:

• O: Indicates that the content of the hazardous substance in all homogeneous materials of this part is below the limit specified in the GB/T 26575 standard.
• X: Indicates that the content of the hazardous substance in at least one homogeneous material of this part exceeds the limit specified in the GB/T 26575 standard.
• ①: This label is suitable for electronic information products sold in the People's Republic of China. The environmental protection use period is 10 years. During this period, if the product is used normally, these substances will not leak or mutate, and will not cause damage to the user's person or property.
