This document provides a quick start guide for the Dahua Alarm Hub 2. It includes essential information for setup and installation.
1. Checklist
Ensure all the following components are included in the package:
- 1 Indicator: Visual status indicator.
- 2 Power port: Port for connecting the power adapter.
- 3 AP button: Button for Access Point mode.
- 4 Tamper switch: Detects if the device cover is opened.
- 5 Speaker: For audio alerts.
- 6 Reset button: Used to reset the device to factory settings.
- 7 SIM 2: Slot for the second SIM card.
- 8 SIM 1: Slot for the primary SIM card.
- 9 Ethernet cable socket: Port for wired network connection.
- 10 Power switch: Main power on/off switch.
- 11 Back cover: The removable rear panel of the hub.
2. Structure

3. Installation
Follow these steps to install and set up your Alarm Hub 2:
- Power on the hub: Connect the power adapter to the power port and turn on the power switch.
- Add the hub to DMSS app:
- Download and install the DMSS app (ensure version 1.99.700 or later).
- Add the peripherals (sensors, etc.) to the hub through the app.
- Install the hub: For detailed information on device installation procedures, scan the QR code on the package to access the user's manual.
