Candy Ovens User Instructions
General Instructions
Thank you for choosing a Candy oven. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Note the serial number for customer service. Check for damage upon unpacking; if in doubt, do not use and consult a technician. Keep packaging materials away from children. Initial use may produce smoke from insulation panels, which is normal. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage due to non-observance of instructions. Oven functions and accessories may vary by model.
1.1 Safety Indications
Use the oven only for cooking food. Any other use is improper and dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for damage from improper use. Essential rules for electrical appliances include: do not pull the power cable to disconnect; do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet; avoid adaptors, multi-sockets, and extension cables; switch off and do not tamper with the appliance in case of malfunction.
1.2 Electrical Safety
Electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician. The power supply must conform to local laws. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage due to non-compliance. The oven requires an earthed wall outlet or a multi-pole disconnector. The supply should be protected by fuses, and cables must have adequate cross-section. The oven is supplied with a 220-240 Vac power cable. Check the power voltage and disconnector setting before connecting. The earth wire must be connected to the power supply's earth terminal. Before connecting, have a qualified electrician check the earth terminal continuity. A separate wall socket is recommended for maintenance. Power cables must only be replaced by qualified technical staff. Failure to comply can compromise safety and invalidate the guarantee.
1.3 Recommendations
Regular cleaning extends appliance life. Wait for the oven to cool before cleaning. Do not use abrasive detergents, steel wool, or sharp objects on enamelled parts. Use water, soap, or bleach-based detergents. Clean glass windows with absorbent kitchen towel; for stubborn stains, use a damp, well-wrung sponge with detergent, then rinse. Clean the oven window seal with a slightly damp sponge. Accessories should be cleaned with a soapy sponge, rinsed, and dried; avoid abrasive detergents. Clean the drip pan after using the grill, removing hot fat and washing with hot water and detergent. For stubborn grease, soak the pan or use a dishwasher or commercial oven detergent. Never put a dirty pan back into the oven.
1.4 Installation
Installation is the user's responsibility. The manufacturer is not obligated to perform installation, and faults arising from incorrect installation are not covered by the guarantee. Follow instructions for qualified personnel. Incorrect installation can cause harm. The oven can be installed in a column or under a worktop. Ensure good ventilation for cooling and protecting internal parts. Make specified openings according to fitting type.
1.5 Waste management and environmental protection
This appliance is labelled according to the WEEE directive. WEEE contains polluting and reusable elements. Proper treatment is essential for pollutant removal and material recovery. Individuals should not treat WEEE as domestic waste but take it to dedicated collection areas. When buying a new appliance, the old one can be returned to the vendor. To save energy, avoid pre-heating, fill the oven, and open the door infrequently. Switch off the oven 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking to use residual heat. Keep seals clean. Use the 'delayed cooking' program for energy savings with hourly tariffs.
1.6 Declaration of compliance
The CE mark confirms compliance with relevant European safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Oven Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1 General notes on cleaning
Regular cleaning extends appliance life. Wait for the oven to cool before manual cleaning. Do not use abrasive detergents, steel wool, or sharp objects on enamelled parts. Use water, soap, or bleach-based detergents (ammonia). Clean glass windows with kitchen towel after each use. For stubborn stains, use a damp, well-wrung sponge with detergent, then rinse. Clean the oven window seal with a slightly damp sponge.
4.2 Self-cleaning oven with catalytic
Optional self-cleaning panels with a microporous coating are available. These panels break down splattered fat into gas during cooking. Excessive splattering may block pores, hindering self-cleaning. This can be restored by running the empty oven at maximum for 10-20 minutes. Do not use abrasive products, metal cleaning wads, sharp objects, rough cloths, or chemical detergents that may damage the lining. Use deep roasting trays for fatty foods and place a tray under the grill to catch surplus fat. If the catalytic lining is heavily soiled, remove excess grease with a soft cloth or sponge soaked in hot water. The lining must be porous for self-cleaning. Catalytic linings have a working life of approximately 300 hours and should be replaced thereafter.
4.3 Maintenance
Instruction for Removal and Cleaning of the Side Racks
1. Remove wire racks by pulling them outwards. 2. Clean racks in a dishwasher or with a wet sponge, ensuring they are dried afterwards. 3. Reinstall racks in reverse order.
Removal of the Oven Window
1. Open the front window. 2. Push down the hinge housing clamps on the right and left sides. 3. Replace the window by reversing the procedure.
Removal and Cleaning of the Glass Door
1. Open the oven door. 2. Lock the hinges, remove screws, and pull off the upper metal cover. 3. Carefully slide out the glass panels (also remove second and third glass panels if present on pyrolytic ovens). 4. Reassemble parts in reverse order. Ensure the 'Pyro' and 'Low-E' indications are legible and positioned correctly on the left side of the door near the hinge, with the printed label facing inwards.
Changing the Bulb
1. Disconnect the oven from the mains supply. 2. Undo the glass cover, unscrew the bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type. 3. Replace the glass cover.
