Before using the device for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Connect the provided Micromax charger and cable to the phone and a power socket. Important Note: Use only Micromax chargers and cables. Other chargers or cables may damage the battery or your device, and will invalidate your phone warranty.

Google Account

Your Google Account allows you to access applications and services from the Google Play Store, including Gmail and Google Maps. Account setup typically occurs upon the first power-on. An internet connection is required for setup. You can also configure your Google account later via SettingsAccountsAdd accountGoogle. If you do not have a Google account, you can create one during this process.

Google Search enables you to find information on your phone or the internet by typing keywords. It supports voice recognition for voice searches and commands. Google Search is accessible from the home screen and the application menu.

Notifications

Notifications alert you to new messages and events. You can open notifications by swiping down from the top of the screen, close them by swiping up, and clear all notifications by tapping the clear option.

Phone Security

Your phone can be unlocked using various methods. The default method is a swipe gesture. To unlock, simply swipe up on the lock screen. For alternative unlocking techniques, navigate to SettingsSecurity.

Screen Lock Options

  • Pattern: Draw a custom pattern by connecting dots to secure your phone from unauthorized access.

Settings and Networks

Your phone connects to various networks and devices, and allows file transfer to/from a PC via a data cable.

Connect to the Internet

To connect to the internet, go to SettingsData usage and enable Cellular Data. You may need to configure the access point name (APN) for your data connection. APNs are often configured automatically upon SIM insertion or sent via SMS by your network provider. If the APN is not listed by default, contact your network provider. You can manually configure APNs under SettingsMoreCellular networksAccess Point Names.

Tethering & Portability

You can use your device as a modem to connect your PC or laptop to the internet. Access this feature via SettingsMoreTethering & portable hotspot.

  • USB Tethering: Connect your phone to a PC/Laptop via USB cable and enable USB tethering. Select your phone's network connection on the PC/laptop to access the internet.

  • Wi-Fi Hotspot: Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot option on your phone. Other Wi-Fi enabled devices can then connect to your phone's network. Configure hotspot settings by tapping the 'Set up Wi-Fi hotspot' option. Your mobile operator may charge for data usage.

Pair With Bluetooth Devices

To pair with Bluetooth devices, go to SettingsBluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Your phone will scan for available devices. Tap the desired device from the list to pair. You may be prompted to confirm a passkey on both devices. If a device is not listed, ensure its Bluetooth is active and tap 'Refresh' to search again.

Google Maps

Google Maps is a web-based service offering access to map data, street views, landmarks, and route planning. To use Google Maps, enable location access via SettingsLocation. Then, tap the [Google Maps icon] from the applications menu. An internet connection is required.
