Connection Modes

The Vortex ONE 4 keyboard supports three connection modes:

Switching Between Paired Devices

The keyboard can be paired with multiple devices. Use the following key combinations to switch between them:

Mode Indicator Light Action
USB LED1 flashes yellow light for 2 seconds Connect via USB cable.
2.4 Ghz LED2 flashes yellow light for 2 seconds Connect via 2.4Ghz dongle.
Bluetooth Device 1 LED1 and LED2 flash yellow light for 2 seconds Press Fn + 3 for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
Bluetooth Device 2 LED3 flashes yellow light for 2 seconds Press Fn + 4 for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
Bluetooth Device 3 LED1 and LED3 flash yellow light for 2 seconds Press Fn + 5 for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

Pairing Bluetooth Devices: Turn on the power switch, hold down Fn + 3/4/5 for three seconds to enter pairing mode. The device will display "ONE4#1/2/3". Once confirmed, the pairing is complete. During the process, LED1/2/3 indicator lights will sequentially flash yellow light.

Macro Guide (Supports Bluetooth Mode Macro)

This keyboard allows for macro recording, particularly in Bluetooth mode.

  1. Press Fn + number keys (1-4) to select an editing layer. Layer 1 is the base layer; layers 2, 3, and 4 are editable. The corresponding LED1/2/3 indicator lights will show green, red, or yellow.
  2. Press Fn + number key 0 (Absolute position) to enter editing mode. The LED1/2/3 indicator lights will continuously flash the color of the selected editing layer, indicating readiness to record.
  3. Select the key to be edited. The indicator light for that layer will remain illuminated. Each key editing length is 32 keys.
  4. To record: Firstly, define the key combination (e.g., 'A' key or Fn + 'A'). Then, define the output (e.g., "12345678"). Press Fn + "." (decimal point) key in the number key area to confirm, and the indicator light of that layer will flash again.
  5. After completing the recording, you can proceed to record the next one by repeating the steps in 4. To exit programming mode, press Fn + number key 0.

Indicator Lights

The keyboard features three indicator lights (LED1, LED2, LED3) that provide status information.

Note: In the defined indicator lights, if two types are both turned on, for example, Caps Lock and Windows Lock are both illuminated, it will become a yellow light.

Fn Key Combos

Access additional functions by pressing the Fn key in combination with other keys.

Fn Switching: Simultaneously press Caps Lock, L_Ctrl, and R_Win to enter Fn setting mode (flashing white light). At this time, the first key pressed is the Fn key. (Ins, Enter, Shift cannot be used as Fn, and macro is not available in the Fn layer).
