System requirements
Coolselector®2 runs on Microsoft Windows 7 or later. For computers configured differently, there are two options:
- Use http://coolselectoronline.danfoss.com for an online experience.
- Contact coolselector@danfoss.com for installation support on older configurations.
Multi-user systems
Coolselector®2 should only be installed on multi-user systems by qualified personnel. The following command-line switches may be useful for such installations:
/VERYSILENT: Suppresses message boxes and confirmations./MERGETASKS=”!desktopicon,!startmenu”: Removes icons from the start menu and desktop./ALLUSERS: Installs icons for all users, requiring administrative privileges./DIR="x:\dirname": Specifies a custom installation directory. An optionalexpand:prefix can be used to expand constants in the path. Installation may require administrative privileges depending on the chosen folder./NoAutoUpdate: Prevents Coolselector®2 from automatically checking for updates.
Command line example:
setup.exe /VERYSILENT /MERGETASKS=”!desktopicon,!startmenu” /DIR="c:\Coolselector2” /NoAutoUpdate
