Tips:- Before your first use, please format your memory card.
- Option 1: Insert the memory card into a card reader, connect it to your computer, and format the card as FAT32.
- Option 2: After powering on the camera, insert your memory card and press the Menu button (M) to access the main menu. Then, navigate to Settings > Format to format your memory card.
- To ensure smooth video recording, please use a reputable Class 10 or higher speed memory card.
- Before your first use, please format your memory card.
Step 2: Mount Front Camera
Turn off your vehicle's engine and locate a suitable spot on the front windshield to attach the camera. Use the provided cleaning cloth to clean the area and then affix the larger static sticker onto it.
Step 3: Secure Front Camera
Peel off one side of the 3M adhesive pad on the camera's base and stick it firmly to the static sticker. When attaching it, ensure the front camera's lens is positioned outside the sticker's area for a clear view. Also, ensure that any part of the reflective surface on the back of your original rearview mirror doesn't appear in the cabin camera's view to prevent the constant operation of the IR lights in low-light conditions, which could lead to a flickering effect.
Step 4: Connect Car Charger
Connect the Type-C connector of the car charger to the Type-C port on the camera's base, then plug the other end of the car charger into the cigarette lighter receptacle in your vehicle.
Tips:- After installation, start your vehicle's engine to check if the dash cam can power on and record automatically. If it can, stop the engine and proceed to install the rear camera.
Step 5: Install Rear Camera
Insert the AV connector of the rear camera into the AV port on the base of the dash camera. Then, route the rear camera's cable through the vehicle to the rear section.
You can adjust the angle of the base to adjust the lens view.
To prevent your dash cam from being stolen while parked, you can easily remove it from the base. To remove it from the base, first disconnect the Type-C cable and rear camera's cable, then firmly press and hold the base while slowly sliding the dash cam rightward with force.
Step 6: Mount Rear Camera
Select an appropriate location on the upper part of your vehicle's rear windshield, clean it thoroughly, and affix the smaller static sticker onto it. Next, peel off one side of the adhesive pad on the base of the rear camera and securely attach the base to the static sticker. The camera lens can be adjusted by rotating it to alter the viewing angle.
Attach the rear camera inside the back windshield as shown to avoid an upside-down view. (If the image is flipped or mirrored, you can also adjust it in the settings).
The selected spot should avoid the shadow from the car's spoiler, so the camera can capture natural lighting and display a more genuine image.
Step 7: Verify Rear Camera
Start your vehicle's engine to verify that the rear camera is installed correctly and working well.
Step 8: Final Cleaning
Clean front/rear windshields and remove protective materials from LCD and camera lenses for clear view.
