Safety Information and Handling

• For indoor use only.
• Keep children away from the device.
• DO NOT use with medical or life support equipment.
• DO NOT use in wet or damp areas.
• DO NOT clean with liquid.
• Test the device locally for safe operation before attempting to control it remotely.
• Use Copper conductors only.
• Installation in a closed metal enclosure degrades wireless performance and must be avoided.
• Installation is allowed up to 2000 meters of altitude.

• SolarEdge Home Smart Switch
• Din rail adapter
• 2x Screws for wall mounting
• 2x Screws for the din rail adapter
• Double sided tape

Mounting Options

Choose one of the following 3 options:

1. Screws
2. Double sided tape
3. Din rail adapter

Cabling

Use the supplied cable rubbers to fixate cables with a diameter of up to Ø 4 mm. Pull the cable through the pull relief opening to fixate and press the top connector to connect the conductor.

Cable Specifications: Ø 0.5-2.5mm²

Wiring

Choose one of two options:

• Option A: Insert cables from top and bottom.
• Option B: Insert cables from behind.

Rating: 3680W @ 230Vac

Pair with Inverter

Use the SolarEdge SetApp smartphone application for configuration and status reading. Ensure your inverter has SolarEdge Home Network wireless connection and firmware version 4.18.xx or later.

Steps:

1. Open SetApp on your smartphone.
2. Navigate to 'Device manager'.
3. Select 'Found new devices' or 'Add new devices'.
4. Select the SolarEdge Home Smart Switch.
5. Add device parameters and finish settings.

LED Indications

• Blinking Blue: Scanning for network or connection lost & load off.
• Blinking Green: Scanning for network or connection lost & load on.
• Blinking Blue (30 seconds): Received request of identification.
• Blue: Connected to Home Network & load off.
• Green: Connected to Home Network & load on.
• Blinking Red: Error.
• Flickering Blue: Standby.
• Flickering Green 5 times: Reset done.

Button Operation

• Press for less than 3 seconds to operate manually.
• Hold for more than 10 seconds to reset.
