Introduction
This manual provides crucial information about the Highwaykick 5's safety, warranty, and care. It is essential to read this manual carefully and instruct children before use. Assembly should only be performed by adults. Please supervise children during assembly as small parts may be present in the packaging. The Highwaykick 5 is designed as sports equipment for children and adults with a maximum body weight of 80kg (176lbs) and complies with EN 14619 standards.
Safety Instructions
- Check your Highwaykick 5 each time before use to ensure all locks, levers, nuts, and bolts are securely tightened.
- Verify that the wheels are correctly attached and show no signs of wear.
- Ensure the steering tube is locked at the required height.
- Always wear a helmet, wrist, elbow, and knee guards, and rubber-soled shoes when riding.
- The Highwaykick 5 uses a spring brake system. Activate the brake by applying firm pressure on the rear fender with your foot.
- Do not ride faster than 10 km/h (6.2 mph) and keep both hands on the handlebar.
- Avoid streets, roads with traffic, and keep away from other road users. Always follow traffic rules.
- Never carry a second person on your Highwaykick 5.
- Clean the scooter with a soft, moist cloth after each use. Clean and grease bearings regularly; replace if necessary. Do not use solvents.
- Do not lean too heavily on the handlebars, as this can bend the tube and prevent proper operation.
- Check screws at least every 3 weeks and tighten them. Always use screw securing agent.
- Spray moving parts of the twist mechanism with penetrating oil every 3 weeks and wipe clean.
- Check the steering set after about 4 weeks and re-adjust if necessary.
- Do not use on wet, oily, sandy, dirty, icy, rough, or uneven surfaces. Never use at dusk or night.
- Do not make any modifications to the scooter that could reduce safety.
- Self-locking connections may lose their ability and should be changed regularly.
- Remove sharp edges immediately to prevent injuries.
- Avoid stunts; ride according to your own ability.

- The Highwaykick 5 supports up to 80kg/176lbs.
- Important Safety Notes:
- Do not ride down steep paths or faster than 10 km/h with the Push-Bike mode as it has no brake.
- The scooter brake can become very hot; avoid direct skin contact after braking to prevent burns. Avoid continuous braking for long periods.
- Always wear appropriate protective equipment: helmet, elbow guards, knee pads, wrist protectors, and gloves. Ensure the helmet chin strap is tightened. Falls without protective gear can lead to serious or fatal injuries.
- Do not use in wet weather, as grip, braking, and visibility are impaired, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Do not use at dusk, at night, or when visibility is restricted, as this increases the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Self-locking bolts and components may lose their efficiency over time.
- Children should only use the Highwaykick 5 under constant adult supervision.

Handlebar Assembly
Follow these steps for handlebar assembly:
- Step 01: Insert the handlebar stem into the main body of the scooter.
- Step 02: Secure the handlebar stem using the designated locking mechanism.
- Step 03: Ensure the handlebar is firmly attached and stable.
Handlebar Height Adjustment
To adjust the handlebar height:
- Step 01: Locate the height adjustment mechanism on the steering column.
- Step 02: Release the locking mechanism.
- Step 03: Adjust the handlebar to the desired height.
- Step 04: Secure the locking mechanism firmly.

Care
Regularly check all screws for tightness and the condition of the wheels; replace them if necessary. Oil wheel bearings and joints regularly. Clean the Highwaykick 5 with a soft, damp cloth after each use and perform a visual inspection. Store the product in a dry, dust-free place.
Warranty
The Highwaykick 5 is covered by a limited warranty against material and manufacturing defects, subject to the minimum statutory warranty of the country of purchase. Scoot and Ride reserves the right to repair or replace products at their discretion. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, incorrect assembly, careless handling, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims require proof of purchase (receipt).
