This umbrella is designed for outdoor use and is not a toy. It should be used in normal outdoor conditions. For formidable or severe weather, it is recommended to store or cover the umbrella. Do not place near open flames. Do not use as a support. Avoid shaking, leaning on, or climbing the product. Children under 10 should be supervised by an adult when near the product. This product is not intended for commercial use, as it will void the warranty.

Warranty
2 Year Frame and 2 Year Fabric Limited Warranty
What is Covered
Hampton Bay warrants the frames against manufacturing defects to the original purchaser for two years. A two-year limited warranty is also provided for the fabric.
What is Not Covered
The customer is responsible for freight and packaging charges to and from the service center. The warranty does not cover commercial use, hardware, acts of nature, fire, freezing, or abusive use. Purchased parts are not covered. Hampton Bay reserves the right to substitute similar merchandise if the model is no longer in production.

Assembly
1. Attaching the Umbrella Shade to the Umbrella Pole
Place the umbrella shade (A) over the umbrella pole (B). Press the tab on the umbrella pole (B) while sliding the umbrella pole (B) into the umbrella shade (A) until the two pieces snap into place.

Operation
1. Opening the Umbrella
Shake the umbrella fabric before opening. Slowly turn the crank clockwise to open the umbrella.

2. Tilting the Umbrella
To tilt the umbrella, turn the crank clockwise and counterclockwise.

3. Closing the Umbrella
Slowly turn the crank in a counterclockwise direction to close the umbrella.

Care and Cleaning
- For best results, clean the pole with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. This helps prevent mildew by removing accumulated dirt particles.
- Do not clean with abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents.
- Clean the umbrella fabric with a mild soap and water mixture. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the fabric to air dry completely.
- Always keep the umbrella closed when not in use.
- Keep the umbrella away from fire, extreme heat, freezing conditions, and inclement weather such as rain, hail, sleet, snow, or wind.
