Appliance Start-up
ⓘ Note: Before connecting the appliance, check that the caps on the rear of the appliance are correctly inserted and screwed onto the drainage tube (10).
Insert the plug into the power outlet. Then press the ON/OFF button (A). Upon switching on, the air conditioner will start with the last function set before being switched off. The display will show the ambient temperature. Press the MODE button (B) until the indicator light for the desired function illuminates:
- Indicator (O): Cooling function
- Indicator (P): Dehumidify function
- Indicator (N): Fan function
Cooling Function
Ideal for hot and humid periods when cooling and dehumidification are needed. By default, the display shows the ambient temperature. The indicator light (S) is on. To set the desired temperature, press the + (E) or - (F) buttons until the target temperature appears on the display. (To switch between °F and °C, press both E and F buttons for a few seconds). Indicator (T) will light up, and indicator (S) will turn off.
After 15 seconds from setting the temperature, the display will revert to showing the ambient temperature. Indicator (S) will light up again. Temperature adjustment is only possible in the cooling function. Then, select the fan speed by pressing the FAN button (C) until the indicator light for the desired fan speed illuminates:
- MAX: For maximum air conditioner power, reaching the desired temperature as quickly as possible.
- MED: To maintain a low noise level while still providing good comfort.
- SILENT: For maximum quietness.
ⓘ Note: The most suitable ambient temperatures for summer typically range from 24 to 27°C. It is advisable not to set temperatures much lower than the external temperatures.
Fan Function
Set the fan speed by pressing button (C), as for the cooling function. Note that the higher the speed, the greater the amount of air filtered. Selecting the "SILENT" speed filters less air but is quieter.
Dehumidification Function
Ideal for reducing ambient humidity (intermediate seasons, humid rooms, rainy periods, etc.). When the dehumidification function is selected, indicator (P) lights up. Simultaneously, the "SILENT" fan indicator (M) lights up. In this function, other speeds cannot be selected.
ⓘ Note: Remember to install the air exhaust hose as described in the chapter: "Preparation for Use".
Timer Programming
The timer allows you to set a delayed start or stop for the appliance, optimizing energy consumption.
How to program delayed start
Insert the plug into the power outlet and turn on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button (A). Then select the desired function and other settings (temperature, fan speed, etc.).
Press the ON/OFF button (A) again: the appliance will go into Stand-by mode.
Press the timer button (D): the timer indicator light (H) will flash.
Use the "+" (E) or "-" (F) buttons to set the number of hours after which the appliance should start operating. These buttons increase or decrease the time by one hour at a time. The indicator light (H) flashes until the programmed start time.
You can set a start time within the next 24 hours. To cancel the timer programming, press the timer button (D) again. Indicator light (H) will stop flashing.

Tips for Efficient Operation
Follow these tips for maximum air conditioner performance:
- Close windows and doors of the room to be air-conditioned.
- The only exception is for installations through a wall hole. In this case, it is advisable to leave a slight gap through a door or window to ensure proper air exchange (see Fig. I).
- Protect the room from direct sunlight by closing curtains and/or partially lowering blinds for extremely economical operation (see Fig. J).
Battery Replacement
- Remove the cover on the back of the remote control.
- Replace exhausted batteries with two LR03 "AAA" 1.5V batteries, inserting them in the correct position (see instructions inside the battery compartment).
- Replace the cover.
ⓘ Note: Whether replacing or disposing of the remote control, batteries must be removed and disposed of according to current laws, as they are harmful to the environment. Do not mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or release hazardous liquids.
Maintenance - Cleaning
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, turn off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button (A) (or the ON/OFF button (17) on models with a remote control), and always unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Cleaning the External Casing
We recommend cleaning the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and then drying it with a dry cloth. For safety reasons, do not wash the air conditioner with water.
Precautions
Never use gasoline, alcohol, or solvents for cleaning. Never spray insecticide or similar liquids.
Cleaning the Air Filters
To maintain the efficiency of your air conditioner, we recommend cleaning the dust filter weekly. The filter is located behind the air intake grille. To clean the filter, slide it out as shown in Figure L.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove deposited dust from the filter. If it is very dirty, immerse it in lukewarm water, rinsing several times. The water temperature should not exceed 40°C. After washing, let the filter dry. To reinsert it, place the filter back in its housing.
Start of Season Checks
Check that the power cable and socket are perfectly intact and ensure the earthing system is efficient. Strictly observe installation regulations.
End of Season Operations
To completely drain the internal circuit of water, remove the external cap from the drainage tube located on the rear of the appliance by unscrewing it counter-clockwise, then remove the internal cap. Let any residual water drain completely into a basin (Fig. M). Once drained, replace the caps in their respective seats. Clean the filter and let it dry thoroughly before reinserting it.
