Frigidaire Room Air Conditioner

Getting started with your room air conditioner

Before you start

? Only install unit according to the supplied Installation Instructions.

When plugging unit in, always press the RESET button on the Current Device.

You're in control

The control panel displays various settings and modes.

1. Get Started

Press the On/Off button. The unit will start in Cool mode with Eco feature, auto fan speed, and a temperature setting of 72°F.

To change the temperature, press the '-' or '+' button.

Note: In Eco mode, cooling turns off once the set temperature is reached. The fan runs every 10 minutes to sense room temperature.

2. Change Mode

Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through available modes.

3. Adjust Fan Speed

Press the 'Fan' button to increase fan speed. You can also select 'Auto Fan', which adjusts speed automatically based on room temperature changes.

4. Eco Mode (Energy Saver Mode)

Press the 'Eco' button to activate Eco Mode. The ? icon will illuminate. Press again to deactivate.

5. Activate Child Lock

Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3 seconds to activate Child Lock. The control panel will be locked. Press and hold 'Mode' for another 3 seconds to deactivate.

6. Timer

Press the 'Timer' button to set automatic turn on or shut off for up to 24 hours. When the unit is ON, the entered time is for shut off. When the unit is OFF, the entered time is for turn on. Press and hold the 'Timer' button for 2 seconds to cancel the timer setting.

7. Change Temperature Unit

Press and hold the '-' and '+' buttons together for 3 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

8. Clean the Dust Filter

After 250 hours of use, the 'Dust Filter' light will illuminate as a reminder to clean the dust filter. Press and hold the 'Fan' button for 5 seconds to turn off the light.

9. PureAir™™ Premium Allergen Filter

If the PureAir™™ Premium Allergen Filter is installed, the PureAir™™ Filter light will illuminate white. After 1440 hours of use, the light will turn red, reminding you to replace the filter. Press the 'Eco' button for 5 seconds to reset the light.
