Welcome to your new Instant™ Air Fryer! This Instant Air Fryer can help you cook delicious meals with less oil and hassle, compared to traditional deep frying. We hope you fall in love with Instant air frying and enjoy it in your kitchen for years to come!

Air Frying Cautions

When the air fryer is in operation, hot air is released through the air vents. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the air vents and take extreme caution when removing hot accessories from the appliance. Failure to do so may result in personal injury and/or property damage.

While cooking, the internal temperature of the appliance reaches very high temperatures. To avoid personal injury, never place unprotected hands inside the appliance until it has cooled to room temperature.

Should the unit emit black smoke during use, press Cancel and unplug the appliance immediately. Wait for smoking to stop before opening the door/basket, then clean thoroughly. For further information refer to 'Troubleshooting'.

Power Cord

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from grabbing, entanglement and tripping. This appliance has a 3-prong grounding plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock:

WARNING

The appliance contains electrical components that are an electrical shock hazard. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock and/or death.

To avoid electrical shock:

To disconnect, cancel cooking, then remove plug from power source. Always unplug when not in use, as well as before adding or removing parts or accessories, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

  • DO allow unit to cool before adding or removing parts or accessories.
  • DO regularly inspect the appliance and power cord.
  • DO NOT operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.   • DO NOT attempt to dislodge food while the appliance is plugged into an electrical outlet, as this may cause electric shock, burns or personal injury and/or property damage.
  • DO NOT attempt to repair, replace or modify components of the appliance, as this may cause electric shock, property damage, fire or personal injury, and will void the warranty.
  • DO NOT tamper with any of the safety mechanisms, as this may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
  • DO NOT immerse power cord, plug or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • DO NOT rinse the appliance under tap.
  • DO NOT use the appliance in electrical systems other than 220-240V~50-60Hz.

How to Use

Control Panel

We've designed this Instant Air Fryer to be our simplest and easiest air fryer to use. With just two knobs to control temperature and time, you can start cooking delicious meals right away.

Control Panel Features:

Initial Setup

Unpack

  1. Remove the Instant Air Fryer from the box.
  2. Remove all packaging material from in and around the appliance.
  3. Make sure to remove all accessories from inside the cooking chamber.
  4. DO NOT remove the safety warning stickers or the rating label from the air fryer.

Clean before use

  1. Wipe the internal cooking chamber and basket with a damp cloth; use a clean, soft cloth to dry.
  2. Wash the cooking tray with hot water and dish soap. Rinse with warm, clear water and use a soft cloth to dry.

Placement

  1. Place the air fryer on a stable, level surface, away from combustible material and external heat sources. DO NOT place the air fryer on top of another appliance.
  2. Make sure to leave at least 13 cm of space above and around all sides of the appliance to allow for sufficient air flow.

Test run

Before using your new Instant Air Fryer for the first time, perform a test run to ensure the cooker is working properly.

To perform a test run:

  1. Plug the air fryer into an electrical outlet. The power light will turn on.
  2. Insert the air frying basket into the cooker, but do not add food.
  3. Rotate the temperature control dial to 200°C.
  4. Rotate the time control dial to 15 minutes.
  5. The heat on light will turn on during cooking. The air fryer will chime to let you know that timer has run out.
  6. Let the unit cool.

Now you're ready to cook a meal in your Instant Air Fryer!

Cooking

The Instant Air Fryer uses rapid air circulation to crisp or cook food, giving your meals all the rich, crispy flavour of deep frying, with little to no oil.

HOT SURFACES

The air fryer will be hot during and after cooking. Always exercise extreme caution when removing food from the hot cooking chamber. Touching hot surfaces may result in personal injury, and/or property damage.

MUST ALLOW AIR FLOW

To prevent personal injury, do not block air intake or air vents.

What to cook in

You can place food directly on the cooking tray, without using foil or other coverings.

Prep

Cut, chop, season, marinate or batter your ingredients according to your recipe.

Cook

  1. Place your food into the air frying basket, according to your recipe.
  2. Insert the air frying basket into the cooker.

When the air frying basket is inserted securely, the front of the basket is flush with the front of the cooker.

Continue Cooking

  1. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired temperature setting.
  2. Turn the time control knob to the desired time setting.

Finish

The air fryer will chime to let you know that cooking is complete.

Cleaning

Clean your Instant Air Fryer after each use. Always unplug the unit and let all parts cool to room temperature before cleaning. Before use or storing, make sure all surfaces are dry.

WARNING

To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning. DO NOT immerse power cord, plug or the appliance in water or other liquid, which may result in electric shock.

  • Dishwasher safe.*
  • The cooking trays have a non-stick coating. Avoid using metal utensils, steel wool pads or harsh cleansers when cleaning.
Removable air frying basket
  • Clean with a damp cloth and mild dish soap.

Cooking chamber
  • Clean with a damp cloth and mild dish soap.
  • Always check the heating coil and cooking chamber walls for oil spatter and food debris, and clean as needed.
  • Ensure the heating coil is dry before turning on the air fryer.
  • To remove baked-on grease and food residue from the cooking chamber, spray with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and wipe clean with damp cloth. For stubborn stains, allow the mixture to sit on the affected area for several minutes before scrubbing clean.
Exterior of cookerClean with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Wipe dry.
Power cordWhile the cooker is unplugged, use a barely damp cloth to wipe any particles off cord.

*Some discolouration may occur after machine washing, but this will not affect the cooker's safety or performance.

Troubleshooting

Food residue on the heating coil, in the cooking chamber or on the accessories.
Cancel cooking, unplug the cooker and allow it to cool to room temperature.
Choose a neutral oil with a high smoke point, such as Canola, Avocado, Soybean, Safflower, or Rice Bran.
Cancel cooking, unplug the cooker and allow it to cool to room temperature.
Remove all accessories from the cooking chamber and clean the cooking chamber and all accessories thoroughly. For more information, see 'Cleaning' on page 11.
White smoke is coming from the air fryerAppliance malfunction.
Cooking foods with a high fat content, such as bacon, sausage, and hamburger
Water is vaporising, producing thick steam.
Seasoning on food has blown into element
Contact Consumer Care.
Avoid air frying foods with a high fat content. Check the cooking chamber for excess oil and/or fat and carefully remove as needed before air frying.
Pat dry moist food ingredients before air frying. Do not add water or other liquid to the cooking chamber when air frying.
Be mindful when seasoning food. Spray vegetables and meats with oil before seasoning to help the seasoning stick.

Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty is issued by Corelle Brands (Australia) Pty Ltd (Corelle Brands Australia) and is effective for one year from the date of original consumer purchase. Proof of original purchase date and return of your appliance is required to obtain service under this Limited. Return of your appliance to us will be done in accordance with our instructions only. Provided that this appliance is operated and maintained in accordance with written operating instructions attached to or furnished with the appliance or published operating instructions on www.instantpot.com.au, Corelle Brands Australia will, in its sole and exclusive discretion, either: (i) repair defects in materials or workmanship; or (ii) replace the appliance. In the event that your appliance is replaced, the Limited Warranty on the replacement appliance will expire 12 months from the date of original consumer purchase.

We remind you the appliance you purchased is for personal use only (not commercial use).

Any modification/alteration or attempted modification/alteration to your appliance will void this Limited Warranty, unless such modification/alteration or attempted modification/alteration was expressly authorised by a Corelle Brands Australia Representative in writing.

This Limited Warranty only covers Corelle Brands Australia's appliances/products and is not extended to any other appliances, products, equipment, components, or devices that you use or may use in conjunction with the Corelle Brands Australia's appliances.

To claim under this Limited Warranty:

  1. Contact Corelle Brands Australia at: Sydney Corporate Park, Level 1, 184 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015. Email: sales.australia@instantbrands.com
  2. Provide a description of the appliance you believe has malfunctioned due to defective parts or workmanship.
  3. If it is necessary for the appliance to be sent to Corelle Brands Australia for repair or replacement, Corelle Brands Australia will send you a pre-paid shipping label and you must send the appliance and your dated sales receipt to Corelle Brands Australia along with the appliance. If you do not have your dated sales receipt, please advise Corelle Brands Australia in advance, and Corelle Brands Australia will attempt to verify your purchase.
  4. If Corelle Brands Australia determines that the appliance has malfunctioned due to defective parts or workmanship, and is covered under this Limited Warranty, Corelle Brands Australia will repair and return the appliance, or send you a replacement appliance, at Corelle Brands Australia's cost.
  5. Any repaired or replaced appliance will be covered by this Limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days following your receipt of the replacement or repaired appliance, whichever is greater.
  6. If Corelle Brands Australia confirms the appliance has not malfunctioned due to defective parts or workmanship, and/or is in working order, or if proof of purchase is not verified, Corelle Brands Australia reserves the right to return the appliance to you at your pre-paid cost. If this cost is not met, Corelle Brands Australia reserves the right to dispose of the appliance after 45 days' notice to you.

Limitation and Exclusions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maximum liability of Corelle Brands Australia, if any, for any allegedly defective appliance or part shall in no circumstances exceed the purchase price of a comparable replacement appliance or part of the same age.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

The cost of repair or replacement under these excluded circumstances shall be borne by you. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
