Using Your Ice Maker
How to start the unit
- Open the left side door and pour potable water into the water reservoir. Keep water level below the "MAX" water level mark.
- Plug your ice-maker into the main power outlet. The ? [ON/OFF symbol] will flash in the LCD display window.
- Press the [ON/OFF button] on the control panel to begin the ice-making cycle. After this, the ? [ON/OFF symbol] will change to a solid light in the LCD display window, and the ? [ICE symbol] will flash on simultaneously. The default size of ice-cubes is Large.
- To select the ice cube size, press the [SELECT button] to choose between Large size (L) and Small size (S). If you wish to adjust the ice-making cycle time, press the [SELECT button] again. During ice-making or standby, press and hold the [ON/OFF button] for more than 5 seconds. Digit "0" will appear in the TIMER delay time display area, indicating the standard ice-making process time. Continue pressing the [SELECT button] to cycle through options: 0, 1, 2, then back to 0. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the setting completes and the digit disappears. Digit 1 adds 1 minute to the standard duration, and digit 2 adds more time. If the unit is plugged in again, it reverts to digit 0 (standard time).
- The ice-making cycle lasts 6 to 12 minutes, depending on the selected ice cube size and the ambient temperature.
Water Level Monitoring
- While the ice-maker is on, periodically check the water level. If the water pump cannot pump out water, the ice maker will stop automatically. The ? [LOW WATER symbol] will light on the LCD display window, and the [arrow symbol] will flash. You need to pour water into the water reservoir.
- It is recommended to press the [ON/OFF button] to turn off the unit first, then fill water up to the MAX level mark, and press the [ON/OFF button] again to restart. If you only fill water without pressing any button, you will need to wait some time for ice-cubes. Allow the refrigerant liquid inside the compressor at least 3 minutes to settle before restarting.
When Ice Full Indicator is on
- The ice maker automatically stops working when the ice-cube storage is full. The ? [ICE FULL symbol] will be indicated on the LCD display window, and the letter "F" will flash simultaneously.
How to obtain the ice-cube
- Place your ice-cube container on the drip tray. Press the [ICE button] once on the control panel (Button B). The ? [ICE symbol] will light on the LCD window. The ice cube pushing spring will start to rotate, and ice-cubes will fall into your container from the ice-cube tap.
- Press the [ICE button] again to stop the ice flow. The ? [ICE symbol] will disappear from the LCD window, the internal pushing spring will stop rotating, and ice-cubes will no longer flow out.
How to dispense the water
Default time of water flowing: 10 seconds.
- Place your water cup on the drip tray. Press the [WATER button] once on the control panel (Button C). Water will flow out from the middle water tap. The ? [WATER symbol] will light on, and "10 S" will display in the TIMER delay time area of the LCD window. After 10 seconds, the ? [WATER symbol] disappears, and water dispensing finishes.
- To stop dispensing water before 10 seconds, press the [WATER button] again.
- If the water flowing time is too short or too long, you can adjust it. Press and hold the [WATER button] for more than 5 seconds. "10" will appear in the TIMER delay time area. Continue pressing the [SELECT button] to choose a suitable time, ranging from 7 to 25 seconds. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the setting completes and the new digit disappears, being remembered by the controller. The next time you dispense water, it will work according to the new set time.
How to drain out the water inside the unit
- When cleaning the unit's internal parts or changing the water, drain the remaining water from the water reservoir by unplugging the water drain cap located at the bottom of the unit near the water drip tray. The water will flow out completely.
- Change the water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure reasonable hygiene.
- If the unit is not to be used, drain all water and dry the water reservoir.
Timer Setting
Timer Delay Time Range: 0.5-19.5 hours. Default Delay Time: 1 hour.
When the unit is running, you can set an OFF-TIMER to stop it after a set delay time. When the unit is on standby, you can set an ON-TIMER to start it automatically after a set delay time.
How to set the timer
Press the [TIMER button] first. The default delay time (1.0 hour) will be displayed. Press the [SELECT button] to choose your desired delay time. Each press of the [SELECT button] increases the delay time by 0.5 hour. Holding the [SELECT button] will change the time more rapidly. During adjustment, the letter "H" will flash. After 5 seconds of inactivity, "H" will change from flashing to a solid display, indicating the timer program is complete.
How to cancel the timer
When the timer is set, press the [TIMER button] again. The delay time digit and the "H" letter display will disappear, canceling the timer.
Timer delay time display example: 18.8 H (Means Hour, and timer setting duration)
