Installation Procedure
Step 1: Disconnect Power
Ensure the main power supply is turned OFF at the circuit breaker. The image shows a finger switching a circuit breaker to the "OFF" position.
Step 2: Prepare Fixture Mounting
The underside of the light fixture is displayed. Arrows suggest a rotational action, indicating how to detach or prepare the fixture for mounting.
Step 3: Connect Wiring
Connect the electrical supply wires (Live 'L' and Neutral 'N') to the designated terminal block on the fixture. A small circular connector is also shown for specific wiring needs.
Step 4: Secure Fixture to Bracket
Using a tool, likely a screwdriver, a hand secures the fixture to a mounting bracket or the ceiling. Wires are being managed and fastened.
Step 5: Position on Ceiling
The light fixture is shown being placed and aligned for mounting onto the ceiling surface.
Step 6: Final Attachment

Advanced Features: Dimming and Memory
The Philips Superslim CL550 offers advanced control over lighting levels.
Brightness Adjustment:
You can cycle through brightness levels (100%, 50%, 10%) by using the wall switch:
- To set 100%: Turn the light ON, then OFF and ON again within 3 seconds.
- To set 50%: From 100%, turn OFF and ON again within 3 seconds.
- To set 10%: From 50%, turn OFF and ON again within 3 seconds.
Light Setting Memory:
The fixture remembers the last selected brightness setting. This setting is preserved if the light is turned OFF for 5 minutes or longer. The sequence ON ➡️ OFF ➡️ ON illustrates recalling the last setting.

⏳: Indicates the duration (≥ 5 minutes) the light must be off for the memory function to activate.
