Safety Information and Symbols

Important Symbols:

  • ?: Indicates the need for proper earthing (grounding).
  • ??: This fixture is not designed for connection via a mains plug.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Power Off

Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker. The diagram shows a hand pressing a switch on a circuit breaker panel to the "OFF" position.

Step 2: Remove Luminaire Cover

The diagram illustrates the outer cover of the light fixture being detached. Curved arrows indicate a twisting motion, followed by an upward arrow showing the cover being lifted off.

Step 3: Prepare Mounting Bracket

This step shows the internal mounting bracket of the luminaire. It features electrical connection terminals and screw holes for securing it to the ceiling.

Step 4: Mount Bracket to Ceiling

Position the mounting bracket on the ceiling. Screws are shown being inserted through the bracket into the ceiling surface, possibly using wall plugs. A screwdriver is depicted for tightening. Icons indicate suitability for both Phillips and flathead screwdrivers.

Step 5: Connect Electrical Wiring

Prepare the electrical wires (live, neutral, earth). The diagram shows a terminal block with push-in connectors. Wires are inserted into the correct terminals. A tool, such as a screwdriver, is shown for wire preparation. The diagram specifies a wire stripping length of 8mm and a minimum clearance of >5cm.

Step 6: Attach Luminaire Body

Align the main body of the light fixture with the mounted bracket. Arrows suggest pushing and potentially rotating the body to lock it into place.

Step 7: Power On

Restore power by turning the main circuit breaker back on. The diagram shows a hand pressing a switch on a circuit breaker panel to the "ON" position.
