5. Connections
5.1 Dolby Atmos®
Dolby Atmos® provides an immersive, three-dimensional sound experience. For more information, visit dolby.com/technologies/dolby-atmos.
5.2 DTS:X
DTS:X™ offers sound unbound by fixed speaker placement or channel signals.
For Dolby Atmos® / DTS:X: These features are available via HDMI eARC/ARC mode. Ensure your TV supports Dolby Atmos® / DTS:X or HDMI audio passthrough. Set audio output to "Bitstream", "RAW", or "No Encoding". The soundbar will display the format (e.g., DOLBY ATMOS, DTS:X).
5.3 Use the HDMI Socket
Some 4K HDR TVs require specific settings for HDR content. Refer to your TV's manual.
Connecting Soundbar, AV Equipment, and TV:
Method 1: Standard HDMI (For TVs not HDMI ARC-compliant)
- Connect soundbar's HDMI OUT (eARC/ARC) to TV's HDMI IN.
- Connect soundbar's HDMI IN to external devices (consoles, players).
Method 2: eARC / ARC (Audio Return Channel)
This function sends audio from an ARC-compliant TV back to the soundbar via a single HDMI connection. Ensure your TV supports HDMI-CEC and ARC, and that these are enabled. You can then use your TV remote to control the soundbar's volume.
Connection Steps: Connect soundbar's HDMI OUT (eARC/ARC) to TV's HDMI (ARC) socket. Select HDMI eARC on the remote.
Tips: TV must support HDMI-CEC and ARC. Settings may vary by TV. ARC requires HDMI ARC capable devices and HDMI 1.4 or higher cables.
5.4 Use the OPTICAL Socket
Connect an OPTICAL cable from the TV's OPTICAL OUT socket to the unit's OPTICAL socket.
5.5 Connect to AUX Socket
A: Use a RCA to 3.5mm audio cable to connect the TV's audio output sockets to the unit's AUX socket.
B: Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to connect the TV's or external audio device's AUX socket to the unit's AUX socket.
5.6 Connect Power
Risk of product damage! Ensure power supply voltage matches the unit's rating. Complete all other connections before connecting AC power cords.
- Soundbar: Connect the mains cable to the main unit's AC IN socket and then to a mains socket.
- Subwoofer: Connect the mains cable to the subwoofer's AC IN socket and then to a mains socket.
- Rear Surround Speakers: Connect the mains cable to the rear surround speakers' AC IN socket and then to a mains socket.
5.8 Pair up with the Subwoofer and Rear Surround Speakers
