Using the Keyboard
You can use the keyboard by connecting it directly to your computer using the USB Type-C cable.
Using all functions and better performance

Top Part

1. USB Type-C Port
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the supplied USB Type-C cable.
2. Volume Dial
Adjust your computer's volume. Pressing the volume dial mutes the sound. Pressing again unmutes it.

Indicator Information
You can check various keyboard statuses using the key backlight status.
Tip: You can set the color of the lighting that lights up or blinks using "INZONE Hub".
Power Status
The lighting is displayed on the entire key. This occurs when the keyboard is powered on by connecting to a powered-on computer.
Key Operation Status
- The Caps Lock key (A) lights up. (1) When Caps Lock is enabled. (2)
- The Fn key (D) lights up. (1) When the function lock is enabled. (3)
Other Information
- Win key (B), Fn key (D), and C key (C) blink slowly and repeatedly. When BIOS mode is enabled. (4)
- The entire key blinks slowly and repeatedly.
- Software Update: The entire key blinks 4 times.
- After the initialization process is complete: Refer to "Initializing the keyboard to restore factory settings".
(1) You can use the "INZONE Hub" screen to turn off the lights. In that case, turn off the lighting setting.
(2) The state where the Caps key is pressed and alphabetical input is always fixed to uppercase.

Adjusting Key Backlight Brightness
Press the Up arrow key (E) while holding down the Fn key (D). The light on the key becomes brighter with each press.
Press the Down arrow key (F) while holding down the Fn key (D). The light on the key becomes dimmer with each press.
Using the Keyboard
1. Connecting the Keyboard
Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable (A) to the USB Type-C port on the keyboard.

2. Connecting to the Computer
Connect the USB Type-C cable, which is connected to the keyboard, to a USB port on your computer.

The keyboard will turn on, and the lighting will appear across all keys.
Keyboard Operations
Operate the keyboard when it is connected to your computer.

What You Can Do with "INZONE Hub"
When you connect the keyboard to your computer using the "INZONE Hub" installed software, you can perform the following actions:
- Key assignment settings
- Macro function settings
- ACTIVATE POINT function settings: You can adjust the key press depth. A lower value allows for faster input with a light press.
- QUICK START function settings: You can set the distance between the key position upon input and the position where the input is canceled or repeated. If the distance is too short, canceling or repeating input can be done with minimal key movement, improving control response.
- Lighting settings
- DISABLE SPECIFIC KEY function settings
- ULTRA LOW LATENCY MODE function settings
- CALIBRATION function
- Check and update keyboard software version
- Manage profiles (Load/Save/Import/Export)
- Application synchronization settings

Installing the "INZONE Hub" Website
1. Download and Install INZONE Hub Software
Download the "INZONE Hub" software from the support website and install it on your computer.

2. Launch "INZONE Hub" after installation.
How to Update Software (for comfortable keyboard use)
Install the latest keyboard software using "INZONE Hub" to utilize new features or resolve certain keyboard issues.
Always use the keyboard with the latest software installed.

Safety Precautions
Information on Volume Dial
You can use the volume dial on the top right of the keyboard to adjust the volume of your connected computer. Volume cannot be adjusted through headphones. If you are using a Sony Gaming Headset, the volume dial allows you to adjust the headset volume using "INZONE Hub".
USB Cable Information
- Use the supplied USB Type-C cable.
- When connecting the USB Type-C cable, do not apply excessive force to the connection part.
- When connecting or disconnecting the USB Type-C cable, do not apply excessive force, such as pulling the cable, and connect or disconnect the connector directly to the port.
- If the USB Type-C cable connector is deformed, such as bent, stop using it immediately.
- The supplied USB Type-C cable may bend during use, but this is not unusual.
Further Notes
- The keyboard is a precision device. Do not drop, strike, or otherwise expose the keyboard to excessive impact.
- Wipe the plug occasionally with a dry, soft cloth.
- Wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth.
- For stubborn stains, moisten a soft cloth with warm water and then wipe it. Do not use cleaning agents, alcohol, or similar substances, as they may cause discoloration or damage. Use a soft brush or similar item to remove dust and wipe gently.
- Do not apply weight or pressure to the keyboard for extended periods. This may cause deformation. Do not force the keyboard when storing it.
- If you experience discomfort while using the keyboard, stop using it immediately.
- Avoid prolonged use and storage at high temperatures and humidity, especially at temperatures above 60°C (140°F). This may cause malfunctions.

To Prevent Fire or Malfunction Due to Wetting
Keyboard Water Resistance
The keyboard is not water-resistant. If water or foreign matter enters the keyboard, it may result in fire or malfunction.
Avoid the following situations and be careful not to expose the keyboard to moisture or dirt:
- Touching the keyboard with wet hands after doing housework in the kitchen or washing hands in the sink.
- Touching the keyboard with sweaty hands or using the keyboard in situations where the keyboard may become soaked with sweat.
- Spilling drinks while eating or drinking.
If the Keyboard Gets Wet or Water Enters It
Using a wet keyboard may result in fire or malfunction. If water gets on it, take the following steps:
1. Disconnect the USB Type-C cable.

2. Turn the keyboard upside down to drain any water from the inside.
3. Place a dry cloth under the USB Type-C port to absorb any water draining from the inside.
4. Wipe the entire keyboard with a cloth, etc.
5. Leave the keyboard on a soft cloth, etc., in a well-ventilated, shaded place until it is completely dry.
Contact your Sony support representative or your nearest Sony dealer. If the keyboard fails due to liquid spillage, it will be repaired for a fee, even if it is within the manufacturer's warranty period. If you purchased an extended warranty from the store or a Sony dealer at the time of purchase, check the warranty details.

Troubleshooting
How to Resolve a Problem?
Before requesting a repair, recheck the following items:
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable from the computer's USB port and reconnect it.
- Restart your computer. Some problems may be resolved by restarting the computer.
- Initializing the keyboard to restore factory settings. Profile settings, etc., will be restored to default factory settings.
- Search for information about the problem on the customer support website.
If the problem persists, contact Sony support or your nearest Sony dealer.

Cannot Connect to Computer

Keyboard Operation is Unstable
- Use the supplied USB Type-C cable.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable from the computer's USB port, wait a few seconds, and reconnect it.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable and the keyboard, wait a few seconds, and reconnect them.
- If your computer has another USB port, try connecting to a different USB port.
- Connect the keyboard directly to the computer, not through a USB hub.
- Foreign objects lodged between keys may cause a key to remain pressed when it is pressed. Check if there are any objects between the pressed keys. If there is a foreign object, remove it carefully.
- If you are using an unsupported operating system, use a supported operating system. Some software may not be compatible depending on the software used.
- When playing games on your computer, you may resolve this issue by closing unnecessary applications or windows, or by restarting your computer.

A Different Character is Entered Than What is Set for the Key
The keyboard uses an American layout. It is possible to enter characters different from those set on the buttons.
Change the operating system setting to the American layout.
Keycap Has Come Off
If a keycap comes off and cannot be reinstalled properly, do not force it and contact your Sony support representative or your nearest Sony dealer.
Note: If, upon inspection when receiving the keyboard, it is found that the following conditions are met, the keyboard may be repaired for a fee. Please understand this in advance.
- If you fail to successfully reinstall the keycap yourself.
- If you damage or deform any part during your own installation.
- If keyboard components or the keyboard itself are damaged or deformed.
- If keyboard components or the keyboard itself are lost.
Initializing the Keyboard to Restore Factory Settings
If the keyboard is not functioning correctly, initialize it.
1. Disconnect the USB Type-C cable connected to the keyboard from the computer.

2. While holding down the Esc key and the F4 key, connect the USB Type-C cable connected to the keyboard to a USB port on the computer.
You should hold down the Esc and F4 keys for approximately 5 seconds. After initialization is complete, the entire button will blink four times.
This initializes all keyboard settings to their default factory values.
If the keyboard still does not function correctly after initialization, contact your Sony support representative or your nearest Sony dealer.
