Sony INZONE KBD-H75 Gaming Keyboard Guide
This guide provides information on setting up, using, and maintaining your Sony INZONE KBD-H75 gaming keyboard.
Getting Started
Begin by connecting the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB Type-C cable. For enhanced functionality and performance, it is recommended to update the "INZONE Hub" software to the latest version. Note: The rubber feet on the gaming keyboard are consumables. If they become damaged and require replacement, contact Sony support or your nearest Sony retailer.

About Indicators
Various keyboard states can be checked via key lighting.
Power Status: Illumination is displayed across the entire key. This occurs when the keyboard is powered on and connected to a powered-on computer.
Key Operation Status:
- The Caps Lock key (A) lights up when Caps Lock is activated.
- The Fn key (D) lights up when Function Lock is activated.
Other States:
- The Win (B), Fn (D), and B (C) keys blink slowly multiple times when BIOS mode is activated.
- The entire key illuminates and blinks slowly and repeatedly when the initialization process is complete.
- The entire key blinks four times when a software update is in progress.
Adjusting Key Illumination Brightness:
- To increase brightness: Hold the Fn (D) key and press the Up Arrow key (E). The light becomes brighter with each press.
- To decrease brightness: Hold the Fn (D) key and press the Down Arrow key (F). The light becomes dimmer with each press.
Keyboard Usage
Use the keyboard by connecting it directly to a computer using the USB Type-C cable.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable (A) to the keyboard's USB Type-C port.
- Connect the USB Type-C cable, which is attached to the keyboard, to a computer's USB port. The keyboard will turn on, and illumination will be displayed across the keys.
Keyboard Operations
When the keyboard is connected to a computer:
- Function Lock: Briefly press the C key while holding down the Fn (D) key. The Fn key is locked, allowing you to use F1-F12 functions without holding Fn. Press again to unlock. The Fn key illuminates when Function Lock is active.
- Profile Switching: Briefly press the Tab key (B) while holding down the Fn (D) key. Each press cycles through profiles 1 to 4. The F1-F4 keys illuminate sequentially according to the selected profile.
- Ultra Low Latency Mode: Briefly press the Esc key (A) while holding down the Fn (D) key. This mode reduces response time during key presses. Press again to cancel. All keys are disabled in ULTRA LOW LATENCY MODE.
- Volume Adjustment:
- Turn the volume wheel clockwise to increase the computer's volume.
- Turn the volume wheel counter-clockwise to decrease the computer's volume.
- Press the volume adjustment button to mute the sound. Press again to unmute.
Tip: Even if you assign other functions to specific keys using "INZONE Hub" settings, you can still use the operations listed above to switch between keyboard functions and adjust illumination brightness.
What You Can Do with "INZONE Hub"
Once the keyboard is connected to a computer with "INZONE Hub" installed, you can perform the following operations:
- Key Assignment Settings
- Macro Function Settings
- Actuation Point Settings: Define the depth of key presses. Decreasing the value allows for faster input with a lighter touch.
- Rapid Trigger Settings: Define the distance from the key's actuation position to the position where it is cancelled or re-triggered. A shorter distance allows for input cancellation or re-triggering with minimal movement, improving command response.

Tip: The valid range for Rapid Trigger settings is indicated by a gray band in "INZONE Hub". Set the Rapid Trigger parameter within the valid range.
Installing "INZONE Hub"

Supported Operating System: Windows® 10 or later. - Launch "INZONE Hub": After installation, launch "INZONE Hub".
Maintaining Software Updates

Precautions
About the Volume Selector: The volume wheel, located in the top right corner, adjusts the volume of a connected computer. It cannot adjust the headset volume directly. If using the Sony Gaming Headset, the volume wheel can adjust headset volume via "INZONE Hub".
About the USB Cable:
- Always use the provided USB Type-C cable.
- When the USB Type-C cable is connected, do not apply excessive force to the connection point.
- When connecting or disconnecting the USB Type-C cable, avoid pulling the cable. Connect or disconnect the connector directly to the port.
- If the USB Type-C connector is deformed (e.g., bent), stop using it immediately.
- The provided USB Type-C cable may bend during use, but this is not abnormal.
Other Remarks:
- The keyboard is a precision instrument. Do not drop, strike, or subject it to excessive shock.
- Periodically wipe the connector with a soft, dry cloth.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, dampen a soft cloth with warm water and wipe. Do not use detergents, alcohol, or similar agents, as they may cause discoloration or deterioration.
- To remove dust, use a soft brush or similar object and wipe gently.
- Do not apply weight or pressure to the keyboard for extended periods, as this may cause deformation. When storing the keyboard, do not apply force.
- If you experience discomfort while using the keyboard, discontinue use immediately.
- Avoid prolonged use and storage at high temperatures and humidity, especially above 60°C (140°F), as this may lead to defects.

Preventing Water Damage and Malfunctions
The keyboard is not water-resistant. If water or foreign objects enter the keyboard, it may cause damage or malfunction. Avoid situations such as:
- Touching the keyboard with wet hands after cleaning or washing hands.
- Touching the keyboard with sweaty hands or using it in humid conditions.
- Spilling beverages while eating or drinking.
If the Keyboard Gets Wet or Water Enters: Using a wet keyboard can lead to damage or malfunctions. In case of water exposure, take the following steps:
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable.
- Turn the keyboard upside down to drain any contained water.
- Place a dry cloth under the USB Type-C port until no more water drains from the interior.
- Wipe the entire keyboard with a cloth.
- Let the keyboard air dry completely on a soft cloth in a shaded, ventilated area.
Consult Sony support or your nearest Sony retailer. If the keyboard malfunctions due to liquid spillage, it will be repaired at a charge, even if it is within the manufacturer's warranty period. Check your extended warranty details if purchased.

Troubleshooting
Before requesting repair, check the following:
- Remove and reinsert the USB Type-C cable from your computer's USB port.
- Restart your computer. Some issues may be resolved by restarting the computer.
- Initialize the keyboard to restore factory default settings. Profile settings, etc., will be reset to their default values.
- Search for information about the problem on the customer support website.
If the problem persists, consult Sony support or your nearest Sony retailer.

Cannot Connect to a Computer:
- Ensure you are using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Verify the USB Type-C cable is inserted firmly.
- Connect the USB Type-C cable directly to a computer, not through a USB hub.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable from one USB port and reconnect it to another.
- Restart your computer and reconnect the USB Type-C cable.
- If the above solutions do not resolve the issue, follow these steps:
- 1. Turn off the computer.
- 2. Disconnect and reconnect the USB Type-C cable.
- 3. Turn on the computer.
- Initialize the keyboard.
The Keyboard Cannot Be Used:
- Follow the same troubleshooting steps as "Cannot Connect to a Computer".
Unstable Keyboard Operation:
- Ensure you are using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable from a computer USB port, wait a few seconds, then reconnect it.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable and the keyboard, wait a few seconds, then reconnect them.
- Try connecting to a different USB port if available.
- Connect the keyboard directly to the computer, not through a USB hub.
- Foreign objects lodged between keys may cause a key to remain pressed. Check for and carefully remove any obstructions.
- If using an operating system other than the supported one, use the supported OS.
- Some software may not be compatible depending on the software used.
- When gaming, closing unnecessary applications or windows, or restarting the computer, may resolve this issue.
- Initialize the keyboard.
A Character Different from the Defined Key is Entered: The keyboard uses a US layout. Characters different from those defined on the keys may be entered. Change your operating system's input settings to the US layout.
The Keyboard Keycap Has Detached: If a keycap detaches and cannot be reinstalled correctly, do not force it. Contact Sony support or your nearest Sony retailer. Note: If conditions such as inability to reinstall the keycap yourself, or damage caused during self-installation, are found upon inspection, the keyboard may be repaired at a charge.
Initialize the Keyboard to Restore Factory Defaults
If the keyboard is not functioning correctly, initialize it.
- Disconnect the USB Type-C cable connected to the keyboard from the computer.
- While holding down the Esc and F4 keys, connect the USB Type-C cable attached to the keyboard to a computer USB port. Keep the Esc and F4 keys pressed for approximately 5 seconds. When initialization is complete, the entire key will blink four times.
This initializes all keyboard parameters to their factory default values. If the keyboard still does not function correctly after initialization, consult Sony support or your nearest Sony retailer.
