BASIC SET UP FOR THE VHRP-1400 MUSIC CENTER
- Determine the ideal location for the turntable. Unit should be placed on a sturdy surface away from any heat or water sources.
- Connect the power cable to a nearby power supply.
- Unwind the FM antenna wire and extend to full length.
- Press the ON/OFF button [power button] to turn the unit on.

PREPARE TURNTABLE FOR PLAYING RECORDS
- Remove cap protecting stylus.
- Remove twist tie used to secure the Tone Arm in place.
CONNECT BLUETOOTH® IN
- Press the Function button [function button] to select the Bluetooth mode.
- Set the Bluetooth function of your external device ON.
- Set to search Bluetooth device on your external device. Note: The effective distance between your external device and this apparatus is up to 33 feet (10 meters).
- Wait for a while then find the “VICTOR VHRP-1400" on the paired devices list on your external device.
- If a window asks you a password. Fill in “0000” or “1234” then press “OK” on your external device.
- A few seconds later your Bluetooth connection should be achieved.

CONNECT BLUETOOTH® OUT
- In CD, AUX IN, PHONO mode, you can use Bluetooth transmitting function to play music from the device on an external Bluetooth speaker.
- In CD, AUX IN, PHONO mode, Bluetooth will emit automatically. If you want to use an external Bluetooth speaker to connect to the unit, just set the Bluetooth speaker to pairing mode.
- Press TUNING/SCAN button [tuning/scan button] about 2 seconds to disconnecting paired Bluetooth speaker or start pairing.
- After Bluetooth connection, the unit will be silent. You can adjust the volume of the external Bluetooth speaker through the VOLUME knob on unit or VOL+ /VOL - buttons on remote control.
- When you switch to other function mode (Bluetooth, USB, Radio) Bluetooth will disconnecting.
Note: Make sure that Bluetooth is off on any devices in the vicinity that will automatically connect to your speaker. And the effective distance between your external device and this apparatus is up to 33 feet (10 meters).
